Anyone else want to jump on board the July bus? AF has just arrived for me after being 2 days late!

Anyway here's my info:

Age: 37
CD01
AF/BFP due: 3rd July

Hoping this is our lucky month! Fingers crossed for everyone x

Please! I have never had a buddy for this before... we have just been "not not trying" for a few months (which obviously doesn't work!) so this is Cycle 1 of actively trying with OPKs etc. But I am worried we didn't do it enough in that window. Once 2 days before ovulation. And one on the day after the positive OPK. That's it. So only twice in the window! Aah!
I would very much like a testing buddy. Somebody on the same schedule would be fantastic. It would be really nice to go through it with someone else, at the same time! You can PM me if you like.

I think it speaks a lot of sense. Much better to wait and be told by AF what’s going on, or get a test that is conclusive later on. Less time to wait until first scan and the panic of the first few weeks is cut down!

@wannabemama0812 I've never had a testing buddy before either. Sounds like a plan. I will go via the browser and drop you a PM.

I wouldn't worry too much about the amount of bd. We caught on in December after only bd once around the fertile time. It only takes once so try not to panic. 🤞🤞🤞

I've missed loads since this morning!!

I really felt like I had AF cramps this morn but they've eased. Realistically I'm not due till Sunday/Monday. I think I'm going to wait it out to test too.

@Sophieb15 totally understand what you mean about already being grateful for one child. I'm SO grateful for mine. I really really want another baby but I can't help feeling how lucky I am already too. I honestly hope everyone here gets their BFP soon xx

@SLT90 yay it’s nice to have a cycle buddy! Been on here since cd1 so nearly halfway as I have 27/28 day cycles but I know the next two weeks are going to feel like forever. Very busy at work but only part time so my days at home can drag if I haven’t made plans.

What are you going to do to distract yourself?

I am a complete idiot. Only 5dpo. I feel sick. So it must be pregnancy. I feel lightheaded - must be pregnancy. The smell of a car makes me feel sick... you guessed it! I need to get it into my head that this will not be the month, lest I go insane or end up with a phantom pregnancy at this rate!

@Ithoughtyouwere I'm about 29 days roughly, but can range from 28 to about 31 days. Got some EWCM today so must be just about time! Work is going to be pretty busy for me the next few weeks so hoping to use that as a distraction. DH and I are also throwing ourselves into the gym more lately in the evenings! Are you waiting until you are late to test?

DH is not helping! I burst into tears over something silly (probably because I’m over-worked and over-tired). “ooh you’re very emotional, maybe you’re pregnant!”

@Sophieb15 I'm feeling a bit more relaxed tonight. Think I've convinced myself AF will come so I'm coming to terms with it. I have zero symptoms now so no idea what's going on really. Told OH he needs to book us a nice meal out to cheer me up in case it is bad news. He was quite sweet when I said I thought AF was coming actually... said not to worry and we'd keep trying until we get our baby ☺️

A friend has given me some leftover IC tests tonight... they're called 'colloidal gold rapid screen tests'. (I've done another post about them too). Wondered if anyone here has tried them and if they're any good? I've tried googling and it seems some people say they're not very sensitive at all? I have a FRER for next week anyway so just wondering really.

@PeanutButter19 do you consistently take your temps? Same time ish and as soon as you wake up? If I have to suggest an ov date I'd say cd 61 as you had a drop then a huge spike but somehow the pass got you as not yet but thinks you will in a few days 🙈 on the opks doesn't look like you've caught a surge yet. Have you noticed any fertile Cm or check your cervix position? Just trying to think of anything else could give it away.

I've just read that link and the comments about testing early. When you test early you may get an answer but it may not stick which take it from me is heartbreaking (now I've had it once I decided I'd rather know as if it happens multiple times I'll be seeing if the dr can help but I'd need to know about them)

@mumof1hants ya I'm be due end of July too so we can still stay on this thread 😁 I had a bath tonight it really relaxed me currently lying on the couch wrapped in a blanket really chilled. Im ready for AF if it comes as I cried about it last night 🙈 I'm watching love island and then going to bed I am wishing the week away so I get to go to my concert fri night then family cinema date sat with OH and DD. Xx

@Abi58 I actually had a bit of clear discharge today.. don’t know how to check my cervix to be honest 🙈 I have been but generally within an hour of each other and I can never sleep a full night without needing a pee! So I’m usually at the toilet at 2 or 3 then back to be and about 7am I temp

@Sophieb15 sounds like u havesome lovely things planned at least. I was supposed to see a friend Saturday night & she's cancelled 😩 OH is on nights so I'm going to find it sooooo hard! X
