Anyone else want to jump on board the July bus? AF has just arrived for me after being 2 days late!

Anyway here's my info:

Feeling ok thanks a very odd mix of super excited and really worried 🙈 yes I did I was going to hold off but I would've been worried all day😩😂🙈

I told myself I would stay off a board for a month, but I can't do it! I had another pregnancy dream last night and I feel I need the emotional support!

Age: 28
CD: 15
AF/BFP: 12th July

Can't quite believe it's been over half a year now. I naively thought I'd be one of the lucky ones that fell straight away. Been struggling recently with the endless comments about how not pregnant I am and the pregnancy announcements left, right and centre.

My FW starts today! I've binned off the thermometer and the Preseed, we're just going with the every other day tactic (hubby is cutting his friends stag short just to come back to DTD!!). Taking vitamins of course, but that's it!

@Mimi91 welcome! Sorry it’s not happened earlier for you. Did you start tracking from when you started trying?

So like others on here, I’m currently ovulating but gosh I’m not sure if I’m more conscious/ aware of it, I Don’t think so as ive been very crampy at times and even a little gassy , but is this amount of cramping normal? Is it perhaps a bad sign or am I overthinking it?

@Abi58 I'm ok today no backache yet I'm only waiting for it to start not feeling very positive about this month. I'm having a lot of stretching feeling and had a dull ache low down before I went to sleep last night. Boobs still tender but maybe not as sore as yesterday. 9/10 DPO today. I just want it to be Friday already and not have any back ache

@PocaNinja I have 3 apps each telling me different ovulation dates (26th,27th and 28th) so I'm just ignoring everything and going for the 'every other day' approach! Which we have been doing since AF ended and it hasn't felt too forced as yet! (Although we missed last night because we had a bit of an argument about something really stupid 😂) I think it will help with the TWW if I dont really know how many DPO I am!

@SLT90 ha, I’m trying to avoid any silly/small arguments too. In my head I prefer the very other day approach but then it gets to ovulation time (like now) and I hate the thought of missing a day /window so have done it three days in a row. Need to chill out! I’ve had a look at ovulation dates too and depending on the website they are all different which can be frustrating!

@sophieb15 that sounds very promising, when do you test? Fingers crossed for you!

@Mimi91 I can relate! After my mc in Feb I assumed I'd catch on easily too as I did after my first mmc in 2000. Who was I kidding. Currently 4dpo in my 5th cycle and if it doesn't happen this month after all the bd we did then I'm done!!! I find it pointless tracking if you're gonna bd often enough to fall on yet it not happen!!!

I too tell myself I'm gonna lay low but I never do!
It's annoying isn't it. Why can't they all just stop, think and say nothing. Trouble is unless you've been where we are they don't understand.

Does anyone else ever second guess ovulation?

I got 4 flashing smileys then a static smile on Sunday but we were really hungover so didn't use fmu.

I don't think I had my usual ov cramps and as much ewcm as I usually do. Temp rise this morning but I've also got a cold so I'm thinking that could affect BBT, Typical.
I didn't double check with any of the cheap opks, would you say I've ovulated yet?

We dtd Sunday, Monday will do tonight then miss a day and one more day on Tuesday.

@Ginfizz90 I use the IC OPKs and as soon as I get a positive I assume I'll ovulate with the next couple of days. I usually do a couple of OPKs the days following just to check it's getting lighter. I don't double check with another brand though xx

@mumof1hants I felt like I had a good bit of stretching in my hips last night and a dull ache low down. All seems to be ok a the moment except for the tender boobs and tingles in nipples every now and then. I literally keep changing my mind I'm tempted to test Sunday as I think I ovualted on CD 15 which would make me late Sunday. And I'm thinking I'll be at home rather than in a rush to go to work so i will be able to process a BFN or BFP a bit better. I'm pretty sure my AF will show up though on Sat since my boobs were sore last month too. Are you still waiting until Monday?

@Ginfizz90 I had 2 flashing smileys using FMU I only tested once a day and think and then my static but at 7am FMU then I had pinching and O pain later that day so I am counting CD 15 as my O day rather than the following day like my app says.

You should be covered anyway with all the BD.

I think we will try for every day on the 26th to 28th or 29th but then go back to every other day for the rest of the cycle just to make sure we have done all we can! I was fairly certain of my ov date last month as I had EWCM and then rising progesterone symptoms a day or so afterwards. It's only my second cycle so I refuse to start with temping and opks just yet.

Wont be the end of the world if it doesn't happen this month as we are going on holiday at the end of July and it would be nice to drink then, but will be a bit gutted if it doesn't happen next cycle as that would be the ideal timing in a perfect world haha

@Sophieb15 I've thought about testing Sunday as I'm now struggling!! Also that will be at least 14dpo even if I assume I o'd later than the apps say! Will see how I feel at the weekend maybe! OH is on late shifts so either way he's around both days... he wasn't there when I found out I was pg with dc1 so want him to be there when it hopefully happens this time!! X

@mumof1hants Are you 10DPO so today? I think I'm going to go with that i'm 10 DPO as I'm nearly convince I O'd on the 15th. I think i might even just use a digital so i don't have to look for lines

@PocaNinja have you tried using opks? That should narrow it down for you.

@Abi58 I'm starting to get a a bit crampy now so feeling AF is just going to come. I obviously hope it doesn't. Have you AF like cramps? I can't really symptom spot anything because I have even got Nausea and dizziness 2 months ago and still got AF. It's so frustrating. It just needs to be Friday already I'm going to another concert and its something to look forward to.

@Sophieb15 it doesn't sound promising the symptoms are so similar to PMs. I thought I was out because last month my nipples felt sunburnt and this month nothing 🤷🏻‍♀️ only nausea....but I've had it since ov so again 🤷🏻‍♀️ yeah they were like duller af cramps if that makes sense
