Kind of glad I'm not the only one @Abi58!
Hormones, that's it. Must be hormones!
I know nothings physically happening yet so I'm not sure why the thought even crossed my brain! X

Joining, 1dpo today

TTC: 2
Age: 32
Cycle: 6
CD: 15
AF/BFP due: 6th July

Hi everyone. I have had a really strange cycle this time round. I had 2-3 days of spotting when my period was due last cycle and then it stopped.

I kept on doing the cheap ovulation tests and noticed the line getting darker so also used the clearblue advanced opk. I got 2 days of low fertility,2 days of flashing smileys and then finally got a solid smiley face. The cheapo ovulation test was also VERY positive the same day as the solid smiley,the line appeared immediately and was darker than the control line.
I am feeling really positive this month!

I stopped breastfeeding my ds 3 weeks ago and I am wondering if that affected my cycle in any way this month re the strange spotting instead of a proper period.

Jonesydocandjr · 19/06/2019 23:22

Hey ! I was reading a book today and at one point the main character starts talking about smells, then says her breasts are sore and small white spots have appeared on her nipples and she doesn't need to do a test because she KNOWS she is pregnant 1 week before her period is due!!! I just thought ' this was clearly written by a man! ' lol

Jojowash · 19/06/2019 23:40

Hi

TTC #3
Age: 39
Cd :15
Cycle: 1 after MC
AF due: 2nd July

On my TTW

Let's hope!! 😃

MissMooMoo · 19/06/2019 23:40

@Jonesydocandjr Grin
I got a positive with ds at 8dpo.
I knew it would be positive because my boobs were unbelievably sore and I recognised it from a previous pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage

mommato3 · 20/06/2019 03:02

@Abi58 Oooh congratulations on your new home. Fingers crossed 😁

@mumof1hants I'm currently on cycle 5. I'm shocked it was grey this morning. Will see what morning brings but suspect it will still be grey 🤷‍♀️

Having a rough night tonight. Woke at just before half 1 and not managed to nod back off yet. Hate nights like this. They suck big time. Heading back to bed now to hopefully get some bloody sleep........ 😣

Abi58 · 20/06/2019 07:02

@mumof1hants you're definitely not the only one. Oh it's crossed my brain this is what I chant to myself to stop me googling like crazy 😂

@MissMooMoo welcome. Unfortunately I can't hel ref breastfeeding as I'm trying for number 1 but there might be someone else who has been through it and can offer some advice.
Hopefully it will settle down and sounds positive with the opks, when was your positive?

@Jonesydocandjr 😂 and one who just googled symptoms!

@Jojowash sorry to hear about your miscarriage 🤞🏻 for you. Are you tracking anything?

@mommato3 thank you and for yours working out 🤞🏻
Hope you managed to get some sleep!

I'm a happy bunny as my temp is still rising! Only 5dpo so doesn't mean much but happy yesterday wasn't an anomaly and it looks like I did definitely ovulate 😁

mommato3 · 20/06/2019 07:59

How the hell do you go from nothing detected to peak fertility in one day????

July bus
Abi58 · 20/06/2019 09:59

@mommato3 at least you got the peak and not 3 days of nothing 😁 get busy! 😁🤞🏻

Sophieb15 · 20/06/2019 11:36

@mommato3 that happened me one month I had no flashing smileys just a static. It's weird how it works.

@mumof1hants @Abi58 stop driving yourselves crazy with the twinges Shock did ye try the pineapple?

4DPO today feeling perfect like I always do the first week of the TWW its the second week normally I start to get PMS symptoms.

Welcome to all the new ladies.

Back at work today and it's quiet again. Fingers crossed for a busy week next week

mommato3 · 20/06/2019 11:37

@Abi58 Oh we've been busy!!!!! Our heart to heart sure did the trick 😂

I managed about 4 hours sleep all told 🤷‍♀️ oh well.

Told OH I suspected O may be earlier this month. Haven't told him I've been using cb so just said I'd had a bit of one sided pain as he understands that! I was greeted with well it looks like you're not catching up on that rest later then 😂 I had planned a siesta 😂 Oh well bd is a better option 😂🤦‍♀️

Then the other lady came to view our house. She loves it. So it looks like we're moving somewhere in the next 7 weeks 👍👍🤞

I so hope this is our month. A new home and a bfp. How freaking amazing would that be 🤷‍♀️

I'm going to be pretty preoccupied now. We have to start packing and skipping so the forum may be a little slow for me once we get started but I'll be in when I can and update. I'm so excited I'm jumping about inside! 🏠👶🏻🤞

July bus
flossy12 · 20/06/2019 11:55

Going to jump on today girlies this is my OPK for today, off on holiday tomorrow without OH for 3 nights 😫😫😭 going to DTD today (again) and tomorrow before we go 🤦🏼‍♀️ think I'm going to miss this months gap though! But 🤞🏻🤞🏻

flossy12 · 20/06/2019 11:55

Oops here's the pic

July bus
Jonesydocandjr · 20/06/2019 13:31

@MissMooMoo oh wow! With my first I had no symptoms!!! Just no period so I suspect it will be the same this time ... but at least last time I was super chilled and it happened the first month we tried this time I'm a lot more stressed ... maybe it because dtd has to be a bit more organised with a 20 month old . Also yes breast feeding and stopping breast feeding could affect your cycle. 😃

Abi58 · 20/06/2019 13:43

@Sophieb15 😂 it's excruciating the time is going so slow!

Started a couple days late but yes :) 5dpo today!

This week is busy for me so next week is going to be tough! 😩

@mommato3 that's amazing! 😁🤞🏻

You're both going to sleep well tonight!!

Ahh that's amazing! Are you living far? Packing is a nightmare I didn't realise we had so much stuff 😂

🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you!

@flossy12
When do you usually ov and what cd are you now? Mine were like that over a week before pos this month and still not far off it and I'm 5dpo so you might. It ov til later? Still 3 days isn't the whole fertile window so just do before and after 😁🤞🏻

Sophieb15 · 20/06/2019 14:23

@flossy12 Welcome.

That's still quite light you may not get positive for another 2 days so make sure you DTD when you back too. Are you going to bring strips with you and keep testing at least you will know then?

@Abi58 I'm always fine the first week and i had loads on so took my mind off it. Come Monday or Tuesday though if I start getting PMS symptoms like the last few months then I'll know I'm out this month.

On my first The only symptom I can remember having is like needles being stuck through my nipples when I was in the bath on night that was it I don't even think they were tender other than that. So i'm hoping for no symptoms Smile

Did you have symptoms last month?

Congrats @mommato3 all the packing will def keep your mind off the TWW.

@Jojowash Welcome. Are you doing OPK's Sorry to hear about your MC. Were you far along? It must be such a hard thing to go through.
How old are your LO's?

Abi58 · 20/06/2019 14:30

@Sophieb15 🤞🏻 for you!
No symptoms also sounds like a nicer experience 😂
Definitely sounds better than needles 😲

Yes I did, my nipples felt like they'd been left in the sun then rubbing on things it's was sore! And I felt so so sick. As it didn't work out not sure those symptoms again would be a good sign I've caught or a sign that if I have it won't stick 😩 I have no other normal cycles to compare it to.

TizzyTess · 20/06/2019 14:56

Hi Ladies!

Am going to tentatively hop on - have been lurking for a few days.
TTC #1
Age: 31
Cd :5
AF due: 15th/17th July

I am just coming to the end (hopefully tomorrow) of my second AF since my ectopic surgery. Sadly I am a tube down after our first pregnancy was diagnosed as ectopic at 10 weeks in April, but am feeling hopeful and wanting to get back to TTC this month.

We were very lucky/unlucky and got pregnant on our first cycle TTC in February so still very new to TTC and all the tracking etc. Taking a relaxed approach but we are so unbelievably broody and I am excited (and petrified) to begin trying.

flossy12 · 20/06/2019 14:58

@Abi58 @Sophieb15 on CD 17 now, not sure when I ovulate as only 2nd cycle and didn't test last cycle, think I'll just wait till I'm back to test again x

mommato3 · 20/06/2019 15:51

@Abi58 we're literally moving around the corner haha. And I hate packing 🤦‍♀️ I hope so, I'm feeling pretty tough at the moment haha.

@Sophieb15 Thank you. I hope so!!!!

Just posted my form. Think the other lady was sorting hers today too so fingers crossed it's quick and painless!!

Sophieb15 · 20/06/2019 16:04

@Abi58 I mean the pain was like take your breath away haha.

It's hard to know though because they say every pregnancy is so different that you might have different symptoms with each one. I think the best thing we can all do is expect it to at least take 6 months because that is the normal for a healthy couple. It doesn't make each month any easier though Shock I'm on month 5 and I'm being positive but also telling myself it may not happen this month and that's ok.

@Tizzytess welcome and sorry to hear about your Ectopic there is another lady on here in the same situation. Well done for getting back to trying again.

@flossy12 enjoy your holiday Smile

Jojowash · 20/06/2019 16:04

@mommato3

Hey lovely! Well not doing temp
Or anything but have the 'Flo' app and using that to take ovulation. I do have ovulation strips in cupboard but haven't used them. Just DTD often around ovulation time.

Kinda missed out my time this time I think :-( we had a bit of a row and didn't DTD, we did about 5 days before and a day after. Let's hope I ovulated day late! Had the EWCM on Monday so whipped him upstairs lol and yesterday. So maybe I'll be lucky!

Good luck to you too!

Jojowash · 20/06/2019 16:12

@TizzyTess

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about what happened :-( nature is so cruel sometimes.

Good luck in your new cycle and let's all stick together and hope! Xx

Jojowash · 20/06/2019 16:18

@Sophieb15

Hey Sophie, yeah I was 11 weeks, so such a shock. If I can get pregnant again I'm going to be petrified. I have a plan though, the only thing I can think of to keep my mind at ease. I'm going to beg for an early scan at docs, they are about 8 weeks and then I'm going to pay for private scans every few weeks. Then I have just a few weeks to wait in between and I can see (hopefully) that everything is going ok. Another 3 month wait would be torture.

I'm older so I think it's more common to MC Sad they told me it was a missed MC and said it stopped growing a few weeks previous.

Going to be crazy having a baby in house as our boys are 13 & 16. Feel I haven't really got time on my side so pressure is on.

Good luck in your journey, hopefully we can support each other but I'm struggling to keep up with all the posts GrinConfused so if I miss people I'm sorry!

TizzyTess · 20/06/2019 16:23

Thanks for the welcome.
No need to feel sad for me, it was an amazing time and feeling in the beginning and has made us realise how ready we are to have a baby.
It has also made me realise how strong my marriage is and how awesome my DH is :D

He is very excited to start TTC'ing again and doing the BD!

Im not temping or anything either, but I have a rough idea of O because of EWCM and as well as a massive surge in libido 3 days before Flo app predicts O! Literally want to jump my DH - which is very out of character for me normally LOL!

Looking back, that's when we DTD, every day the 3 days before Flo's O prediction and the day after predicted O and we were successful so am going to try and do the same this cycle.
