Anyone else want to buddy up for the 2WW?

AF is due May 30th so I am 1dpo today.

I am determined not to POAS until 12dpo but I know I'll be caving by Monday

@tisonlymeagain - bases very much covered!! I’m around 5dpo and logically shouldn’t test for another 5 days, but come Monday, I’ll be struggling 😂

@ELW85 love the 2.5 dpo! Actually makes so much sense when you ovulate in the middle of the night!

To add to the joys of the 2WW I've got a really bad cold which is making me feel quite lethargic. Means I'm stuck on the sofa now with no distractions so back to my baby name list and YouTube nursery prep videos 🤦‍♀️ haha did also order FRERs! Can't resist an offer!

@MeganMama28 - thanks :) it’s hard to track these things isn’t it!? My BBT app asks me for the time we DTD and it drives me crazy, as I start thinking “well, it was around midnight so do I count it as CD12 or CD13”? Haha!

Sorry to hear you’re feeling rubbish, why don’t you convince OH to wait on you in preparation for being pregnant? Haha!

@ELW85 that's a brilliant idea! Just put it to OH and although he rolled his eyes and laughed he's already got the kettle on to make me a decaf tea hahaa!

Yeah I never know what to track it as so I end up putting it as the following day if it's around midnight or after. It's a tricky one!

We had a birthday party for DS at the weekend and it was so lovely having lots of toddlers running around and playing together. I've always wanted a big family but it's taken some time to adjust to having one, and then it seems like it's taking forever to have number 2!

I’m starting to get nervous to test; I want it to be positive more than anything, and find it so frustrating that we aren’t there yet in spite of temping and tracking.

@ELW85 how long have you been trying for?

A few months, but every month that passes, I get a bit more anxious that it’s not going to happen.

Ok so because of temps I am back to 4po today and AF due on 30th rather than 28th which is line with my Glow App based on OPKs except FF says I OVed on the Friday and Glow on the Thursday. Typically Friday was the only day we didn't DTD but hopefully it's okay because we did every other day that week!

@tisonlymeagain - it’s actually the two days before O that are most fertile, with DTD on O itself only an 11% chance, so you’re actually in a good place!!

How has your AF date shifted because of temps though? I’m curious because my temp app changed my AF date and it doesn’t make sense to me!

No idea @ELW85 It confuses me, I'll post my chart in a minute so you can see! A couple of temps are out pre-ov because I got up late etc but they've been regular over the past week.

Here's my chart - it originally put OV at CD14 Wednesday but today's temp has moved it to CD16

@tisonlymeagain makes sense with when you got positive opks 😁 did you feel any cramps at the time of ovulation?

Yeah, I agree with CD16 depending on what we mean by a +OPK; when did you get your surge?

Plus temps are retroactive and can take a couple of days to reflect O.

I had three days of flashing smileys, peak solid smiley came on CD14 and also on the internet cheapy strips as well, though these were still positive on CD15. I don't suppose it really matters in the scheme of things, just confusing!

I think if you got your surge in 14th and the strips weren’t as strong on 15th, then you probably O’d between 14/15. It depends when the strips went from surge back down to high, if that makes sense?

They were negative by the morning of CD16 so I think CD15 is more likely. The strips were positive from 3pm on CD14 and still positive 24 hours later but faded by the morning on CD16.

Argh - this TWW is going so slowly! I’m still only 5 or 6dpo and it feels like the end of May is forever away!

How's everyone doing?

I've been run down with a bad cold this whole 2WW which has meant its been a bit tricky to symptom spot! Currently 13dpo and have avoided POAS! Decided I'm going to wait until AF is due in 3 days time (if it hasn't come fx 🤞)

Hope this 2WW hurries up a bit and is a lucky one for us all 💕
