Hands up for a topic in Becoming a Parent called "Questions for Attilla"?

Have noticed so many threads over the time I've been an MNetter headed "Attilla - advice please" and such. Just wonder if it wouldn't just be easier for her to have her own topic
Perhaps it should actually be Questions for Attilla and/or Lulumama, the wisest women in the world!!

Attila has helped me out a couple of times - she's very knowledgable! (But please spell her name right - I'd hate to see her angry )

AttilaTheMeerkat · 19/07/2007 07:04

I don't mind if you spell my name wrong!.

lulumama · 19/07/2007 07:13

that's very kind

however, I know very , very little about conception.....Attila is the expert on that..now, pregnancy and birth, yes, that i can do

Feedmenow · 19/07/2007 10:19

But lulu, between you and Attila you've got it all covered!!

Attila, on another post I think manuka wonders if you have considered becoming a fertility specialist. I think you would be great at this. I know I thought about retraining myself when I was ttc our dd and found Toni Weschler(sp?) so helpful. I think it is an area that we need more practictioners in.

TBH most doctors have no idea how someone who is having difficulty in conceiving really feels, how is it occupies most of your thoughts etc. I think more fertility specialists (not consultants, just trained specialists) would actually save the NHS money as they might have success with less expensive, invasive options (ie less IVF).

I feel very humbled reading your message.

I used to do a bit of voluntary work for Verity (which is the charity for women with PCOS).

If I was to do anything like this (and I will give it more thought I promise) it would be in an organisation like for instance Infertility Network (they used to be known as CHILD) who are a charity that helps subfertile couples.
