Brown bleeding at 5 weeks

Sorry for tmi in the title but I'm 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I woke up this morning to red blood and now have brown spotting. I had a blighted ovum followed by a d&c last November.
Am terrified that I'm having a miscarriage. Has anyone else got a similar experience they can share with me? Thanks x

Didn't want to read and run...

Generally health professionals aren't really concerned by bleeding during pregnancy unless it's red, heavy and/or accompanied by pain.
It is very normal to have some brown spotting/light bleeding. (It's a good sign that the red turned to brown).
There are a number of causes of bleeding during pregnancy, and a lot of the time they don't mean you're going to MC.

However, it's probably best to contact your GP or EPU if you can self-refer in your area. They might be able to do a scan at 6 weeks just to check everything is where it should be and no signs of MC.

Please try not to panic... Although I know that's near impossible. Being pregnant after loss is more nerve wracking than joyful.
Do something relaxing, eat some tasty, healthy food, watch a film or something and put your feet up. Take each day/hour/minute at a time. All you can do right now is keep an eye on things and see what happens; as difficult as that is.

@KnitKitty thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my post. I'm on day 3 of spotting now and have a scan booked for Thursday. It's an agonising wait which unfortunately I remember too well from last time. As you say I'm sure my anxiety levels are higher due to last time. I'm trying to stay positive and as ever it really helps to know I'm not alone. Thank you again. Xx
