Hello, new to the site but I thought I'd try to hopefully get some answers.
This is going to be a 2 part thing for me, first it's going to be about blood type.
I know I'm resus negative but don't remember which one, I have asked my doctor if it could be checked and he has told me know. I got a child with an old boyfriend and after I gave birth to her the nurses gave me a shot and told me I'd need it every time I get pregnant or miscarry, an anti-d shot they called it, or I my body would/could refuse any new child I'm trying to conceive. The question is would there be any way for the doctor's to be able to check if I do have the thing in my blood stream that would make it hard for me to conceive with my husband?
We have been trying for 2 years and no luck, he is even taking conception tablets to help his little swimmers if it's a problem with them and I'm taking conception multi vitamin and extra folic acid.
Other question is, I live in Basildon and Brentwood district of NHS, they have no IVF for anyone that wants it on the NHS, is there any way to get around that or is it just tough luck for me and my husband to get any sort of help?
I have looked in to several free IVF for eggsharers which I wouldn't mind doing but they all want me to spend 2-2.5 thousand on tests just to even get started, which to me doesn't say free if I have to pay.
Any help work be much appreciated.
Thanks
