A line! Is it a line? Argh!

Sorry to post after not posting for so long...I started to find the monthly tracking difficult after so many 'no's'. But I just had a feeling this morning and took a test. My period is only due today, so this is far too early. But I have taken a lot of these damn tests over the last year, and I know what a 'no' looks like. I've never seen anything like a line. So...am I too excited, or is this actually a very faint line? Not a great photo without any daylight...

Hun I tested with internet cheapies Thursday night and had faint positives. Had negatives since including this morning so thought I was definitely out. Came back from work this afternoon and took another three internet cheapies and they are all darker positives than the first ones I took Thursday night! Don’t give up hope it’s not over until you get AF xxx

Thanks everyone. I think I'm a bit more resigned now. Feel a bit glum, but trying to look at the positive - at least we can actually do it, which I was beginning to wonder. Will make an appt with the doctor for fertility exploration if this goes south, and get on with Mission DNA Replication.

Our doctor is referring us to the fertility clinic as we are both still young and been trying for 17months with no joy. But then I had the positive Thursday night. Mine went faint until an hour ago now they’re dark again. Don’t give up hope I was feeling the exact same as you are yesterday and all this morning thinking I’m having a chemical but you aren’t out yet sending so much good luck your way! Xxx

Thanks @Milly24. It's not so much giving up hope, as trying to be practical. I was so excited to see that positive, and i felt a real wind out of sails this morning. I need to not get hopes up too much, or I'm going to be disappointed. I've done this so much before earlier in this journey with thinking i could spot symptoms and then AF coming. I thought I would be more rational about a very early positive, but turns out no...so now I'm just trying to be be chilled. I don't have any tests left, and I'm not buying any more. I will get some late next week if AF doesn't turn up, because then I'll be a full week late. but I'm not getting hopes up. I feel crampy, and I'm fairly sure I have very faint brown discharge, so I think we're at the beginning of the end. Sorry, that sounds very Eeyore-ish. I think I'm trying to talk myself out being excited so I'm not disappointed.

I'm really pleased to hear your story though - it's good to hear positive stories, and I'm really happy that your bean seems to be sticking :)

Yeah I know what you mean I brought a pack of two FRER but used them yesterday and this morning so I only got a very very faint shadow line on them and not buying anymore tests until Friday cuz I’ll be a week late then too if it doesn’t show up beforehand. Just using cheapies for my addiction for now haha xx

Sounds like we're on similar timelines, @Milly24. Good luck - have my fingers crossed for you. Let me know how it goes on Friday :)

Thanks for all the support and advice everyone. Period started today, so guess was a chemical. Been looking back at patterns of cramps, now I know that it probably was implantation I felt earlier in the week, and think I must have had one in early July too, but didn't test.

Good luck to everyone else who posted on here and is still in the game 🥰
