Tww starting tomorrow. Ovulation today. Af due 24th. Someone join me and help me stay sane please.

@Louise392 I don’t know, I thought maybe Wednesday?! But sooooo tempted to test tomorrow even tho I know it’s silly bahhh it feels like torture and I have two FRER waiting to serve their purpose 😂 I need to have self control.

@bumpingalong84 well you will be 9dpo then will you? they are meant to be 6 days earlier so you may catch a line :)

@Louise392 my cycles are still settling after coming off the pill, AF is due on Friday or Saturday but think ovulated 2days late. So who knows really when it’s not all regular.

Can feel some light cramps again tonight but still not convinced 😩

It’s so tempting to pick some cheapies up from poundland tomorrow to satisfy my urge

@bumpingalong84 I came off the pill in October and had a period Dec and Jan both on 23rd so im lucky mine seem to be back on track.

I feel like throwing the cheapies in the bin as i can see me doing one and i dont want to i would rather wait and use a FRER on Weds/Thurs i want a BFP!

Mine have been ok, came off end on November and have had two, one at 33days and one at 27days so hoping back to a 28day cycle.

I’ll see if I can fight temptation till Thursday or even better Friday. When are you testing then?

@bumpingalong84 I am 31 days cycle.
Think if i pick the tests up on weds i will do them Thursday with FMU so will be around 12dpo and Ovia app tells me do it that day too so think i will.

Pretty sure I’m out - AF due tomorrow and still getting BFN on my tests. Not sure why I’m feeling as gutted as I am because this wouldn’t be the right time for another really. Meh, sorry for the whinge.

Sorry @ClaraLane, although you're no out until AF appears. This process is such an emotional rolletcoater.

Random question and TMI but is snyone else having reallt bad gas? As in foul smelling farts??

@bumpingalong84 you did a test? still time yet, think most websites say they are most accurate the day of your missed period and after so dont de disheartened just yet :)

@Louise392 I know 🙈 I have no self control. I’m only 8DPO!! Still don’t feel confident tho. Ovia is telling me I can test in 4days but not sure that’s right.

I intentionally went to the loo quickly this morning to flush away the FMU so I couldn't test! Tomorrow is my early-but-apps-say-I-can-test day

@GreyWolf I have deff done that before too. Pee quickly and takes away the urge to test. I am now 9dpo. Trying to talk dh into getting fertility tests done privately ( because I know u have to wait a year to go to the gp)
I just have a feeling that we might need help conceiving. But it could be my anxiety whispering doubts in my ear. Any thoughts?

@hopeful31 really hard to say - I asked my GP about fertility tests a few years ago before TTC (actually when I was discussing contraception ) and it would be absolute minimum 6 months, more likely 12, of TTC before they'd help us.

Personally, I know I am very impatient, and prefer to have all of the info asap - I don't know the cost and time involved with private vs GP, but I'd weigh it up that way.

• Is private affordable (for you) ?
• Would you be frustrated if immediately after private tests you got a BFP?
• Does it save significant time over waiting for GP?
• What harm / struggle would you experience if you waited for GP?

Meant to say, those Qs are for you and your DH to mull over, I don't need to know the answers

@GreyWolf how many dpo are you? Will you test tomorrow then? I felt so stupid after I’d done it, like you lemon what were you expecting 😂

My head is all over the place thinking we didn’t dtd enough, had I actually ovulated bahh, did I miss it!! Drive your self mad thinking and analysing. Have to remind myself when I got my bfp with daughter I had no symptoms.

@hopeful31 when are you testing? How long have you been trying? So many of my friends didn’t conceive for 8cycles+ seems to more common as far as I can see than falling quickly

we have only been trying for 4 months. I know it's not long so I'll give some context. I had an emergency op a 3 years ago because a large cyst grew on my ovary and twisted around it 3 times. I worry that it could have caused damage. I attend smears and biopsies every 6 months because of abnormal cells in my cervix. I always have irregular periods.

So I just worry that it may be difficult to conceive: dh is very understanding about everything. I know it could all be just anxiety and chances are that everything is fine. But I'm struggling to just accept that things COULD be ok

@Bumpingalong84 I think 10dpo bit it could be 8dpo. Like you, my head is all over the place and I'm second-guessing about actually ovulating and BDing enough / on the right days.

Yep, I'll test tomorrow with FRER, then test once a day - I think it will help me feel I've got some level of control.
I've got IC strips as well as the FRER, so won't be wasting loads of money each day!

@hopeful31 that sounds really tough to have that extra level of worry on your mind, TTC is stressful enough at the best of times

Hopefully you'll get a BFP this cycle and it won't be an issue, but if not then I would probably get all of the info on private tests and set your own deadline for making an appt

@hopeful31 I think if it is going to give you peace of mind and the cost is not a concern, then go for it if nothing this month.

Personally I am very impatient so even though we are only on cycle 2 I am already thinking about fertility tests if nothing happens. I need to rein myself in and remember it takes the majority of couples several months.

I am very up and down in terms of feeling like we won't be successful this month and thinking I am feeling symptoms. Very twingy and gassy today but could be nothing. So hard to tell.

It's hard isn't it. Because so many pregnancy symptoms can be related to something else in ur daily life. When is ur af due ?

I would do what you feel comfortable with @hopeful31.
My DH wants us to have private midwifery care this time around, when i do conceive, as the hospital near us and the set up is really bad.

I had 2 red spots of blood on my toilet roll after i wiped this morning with some yellowy brown discharge, then an hour or so later another 1 spot and nothing since. Hoping this is implantation :)

@Louise392 do u want to go ahead with the private midwifery too??

@hopeful31 yes i think so, means i can pick someone i like and they will be with me throughout rather than having a different one every time i go and they also do all your blood tests and scans are private too.

I hope so, got a banging headache this afternoon :(
