Tww starting tomorrow. Ovulation today. Af due 24th. Someone join me and help me stay sane please.

Today I have ordered some of the Clear Blue digital ov tests, another bundle of ICs, and some replacement batteries for thermometer as it's running low - hoping that planning will help me stop feeling so rubbish!

As well as the disappointment I feel guilty (in case I chose the wrong days for BDing) and so stupid for feeling all of those niggles and aches and pains and twinges and reading more into them than was actually there

But I'm going to let myself wallow a little, then pull up my big girl pants and do what I can after AF

Aww no @hopeful31 sorry to hear this. Good luck with SMEP. I may need to try this in future so do let us know how you get on. My husband is going to be away until cd15 next month so will have to pounce when he is back and continue from then.! One time I am grateful for late ovulation and long cycles

Smep yes that is right. I dtd every other day from finish of af and carried on dtd every other day til day after ovulation as I read that you get better quality sperm leaving it a day rather than dtd every day :)

I am totally having self pity day too haha. I know you do feel a bit silly with regards to aches and pains and what you read into them. I still feel really thirsty and have a pain by armpit/top of boobs that don't normally have so no idea what that is all about as it is definitely AF! Pesky hormones or just random female body stuff I guess??!

@hopefu31 AF came yesterday evening so guess I am day 2 of new cycle? Or should I call it day 1?? Ovulated day 22 of last cycle according to digital ov sticks which was 33 days altogether so quite late which is not ideal....

So sorry to hear that @whyhaveidonethis Hope your ok sending lots of love to you, are you thinking of having IVF again? @hopeful31 Sorry to see AF arrived just think two says early means you get to start next cycle somer. I would rather be early than late would only sit there driving myself round the bend symptom spotting, I'm 9DPO here no real symptoms no CM, no spotting not really any cramps today just have a little bit of a pressure type feeling low down so feel like it la AF gearing up for weds, I tried SMEP this month so will see what happens I've tried it a couple of times but always messed it up but this month i done it right 🙏🏻

I'd say ur on day 2 @becca3210. Our cycles are similar. My cycles are 33 days on average and I ovulated day 20 last cycle .
Friday night and I'm in my pjs from 4.30. Rock and roll life style 😂

@MrsP4 I agree. I rather she came early than late. (Actually prefer she didn't come at all and sent a bfp instead but we can dream lol )

Really sorry for you! Just remember- one of these days your AF will mean the start of a baby 😊 and you'll look back to it with love! Could be this one?

Not quite @hopeful31 although feel a bit better now ive had 2 cheapies with 2 lines also this morning.
Once af is late tomorrow, as i am always bang on the date, and ive taken my last frer sunday ill stop testing and know its real.

Working out the dates from 1st day of last period, how the midwife does it, i am 3 weeks 6 days, due on 2nd November so he or she will be here for their first xmas :)

Fingers crossed @mrsp4 I had no cm from 9dpo, got bfp on 12dpo and i did smep last month so hopefully you will get your bfp this month :)

Hi there. Brand new to all this and still having to google all the acronyms. TTC number 1. Came off the progestogen only pill in December. Using Natural Cycles app to track ovulation etc (along with LH strips which the app tells me when to test). Currently 12dpo so TWW started when this thread did. Have had very faint stomach cramps since Tuesday this week so I've been expecting AF to arrive but so far no sign - cramps feel lighter than they did before my last 2 periods and it doesn't feel the same. I was doubled over in pain with the last 2 to the extent I bought a tens machine and considered sacking off this TTC lark and going straight back on the pill and getting a dog instead - the pain was excruciating reminding me why I was put on the pill by the GP in the first place. Persevering for now and using the tens machine when AF does make an appearance just to get through the first 3 days, it's tolerable after that. I was due on yesterday but no sign yet. App says to test on Monday if still no sign. Only my second cycle of trying (I'm not counting the first one as that was the first time off the pill since 17 (now 34) so wanted to let my system work out what's what when not pumped full of contraceptive hormones. Boobs are in total agony too which isn't a symptom I normally suffer with when AF is due (this is based on 2 AFs so far, plus the one immediately off the pill so I'm aware that's not many to go off but sore boobs is a new one on me). Dunno whether I'm just wishful thinking or not though! Suppose I'll find out on Monday when I test or before if AF arrives. Is it just me or does this TTC stuff take over your brain? My husband and I decided to just see what happens but given there is such a small window of opportunity each month I've not exactly gone down the "wait and see what happens" route. When you're at school they make out like you only have to TDT once and that's it - wham bam. I feel lied to now I know the actual facts.

Hi Miller2 I was on the mini pill up until October last year, had first period in December then started trying in January. I just got my BFP yesterday at 12dpo.

Your symptoms are similar to mine, my boobs hurt more 11/12dpo and i had constant cramps sometime quite achey in lower stomach and back for a few days before.

@Louise392 I really do hope so but don't want to get my hopes up, did you have any implantation bleeding, haven't really had any cramps today so I don't know if it's a good sign or not,

@mrsp4 I literally had 2 drops of red on Tuesday and 2 of wednesday and thats it.

Does everyone get implantation bleeding or is that just some people? I've not had anything like that.

I hadnt @miller2 and that was the one thing everyone was getting apart from me and then i had some dpo10/11
Not everyone gets it, does say on the internet that it isnt really a common thing that everyone gets.

Not sure whether to test tomorrow or not if still no sign of AF.

When is af due? @miller2 tomorrow?

@Louise392 hopefully you have a sticky little bean in there and we will follow you into the bfp realm.

Some mild cramping here today but nothing exciting, no spotting and af should be due in a few days, the negative FRER this morning had left me willing af so just hurry up and turn up so I can move on to next cycle.

Oh right @Louise392 I'll be 10DPO tomorrow so will see if I get anything, says on the internet that it's not that common but I hear of a lot of people getting it xx
