Is my cervix high or low?

In the morning, I can't feel my cervix at all. In afternoon/evening it's just reachable. Reachable enough that I can just feel that it's hard, but not low enough to prod gently to see how hard. I'm using my longest finger, which is only a short 7cm.

Confused over why you need to know/are tracking your cervix.

Anyway, I'm probably the wrong person to have responded since I have no idea why you would be doing this. Others might be along who know and can be of more help.

Cervical position can indicate whether pregnancy has occurred? I'm post ovulation, af due soon. High cervix can mean pregnancy, low cervix typically means no pregnancy. That's why I asked.

I think rather than sticking your fingers into your vagina and then asking random people on the internet what it means when you clearly don't know the technique (if there even is one) is might be easier to do a pregnancy test?

Anyway I'll leave. Good luck TTC.

Cervical position is only truly indicative of pregnancy much further on - long after you would have had a positive test. Cervical position and texture (high and soft) IS indicative of impending ovulation.

Checking position and texture really only works if you do it regularly and know your cervix well (I found this took me a good few months to do).

I'd stop poking around and do a test.

I wondered about this and there are a few websites that can guide you through it but it can take a long time to learn the differences in your cycle to know if something has changed.
I read the same as physicskate advises. It's not a great signal for pregnancy as it would tend to be high for pregnancy, but can take time for you body to respond and change the position of the cervix so only a definite once you would likely already know.
