I’ve stopped my mini pill (Desorex) exactly 2 weeks in and it’s been a week, I’ve not had a withdrawal bleed yet. I have only been on the pill since May 2018. We have had unprotected sex every night since Sunday (the day I stopped) so is there a chance I could be pregnant already? I’m really unsure on how this works with a withdrawal bleed and fertility. When do you think I should test? Any advice would be really helpful as we are trying to conceive our first, thank you in advance! X

@sjkent18 there is always a chance you can get pregnant straight away but its very unlikely especially with the pill it take some women months to have a period and for cycles to regulate again xx

@HJWT thank you for your message! Is this the case with being on the pill for such a short time? I have had 2 bleeds in June and October as I forgot the pill mistakenly but I'm yet to bleed and it's been a whole week. I had one day with light brown spotting but that's it xx

@sjkent18 it all depends its different for every person but I wouldn't be worried after a week maybe give it another 2 weeks and if nothing take a test, have you tried OPK's? I used them after having my implant removed and didn't ovulate then had a period and then ovulated after 2 weeks so my body is still all over the place x

Ok - will do! No I haven't but definitely will invest in some. There's such a science behind making a baby, it's not as easy as I once thought. Hopefully our bodies are back to normal soon enough! X
