I’ve stopped my mini pill (Desorex) exactly 2 weeks in and it’s been a week, I’ve not had a withdrawal bleed yet. I have only been on the pill since May 2018. We have had unprotected sex every night since Sunday (the day I stopped) so is there a chance I could be pregnant already? I’m really unsure on how this works with a withdrawal bleed and fertility. Any advice would be really helpful as we are trying to conceive our first, thank you in advance! X

Hey,

We are ttc our first too and the doctor told me that although it can take a while for my periods to return to normal that I can get pregnant straight away.

I've now had my period but did take a few weeks for a bleed for me.

Stay positive :)

Hi!

I came off my implant last year and it took roughly around 3 months for my hormones to settle and periods to go back to normal so I could track my ovulation. You can of course get pregnant straight away depending on when you ovulate, if you haven’t got one already download a fertility app, I use Flo. They’re not always completely accurate but if you log your periods and cervical mucus it can give you a rough idea on when you’re ovulating and what tips you should be looking out for. I find them really helpful as you can log when you’ve had sex etc so if it’s a negative one month can see if/where you’ve maybe missed a crucial time etc.

I wish you all the luck ladies! Flowers
