this mean you are might struggle to conceive as it affects ovulation.
I have severe PCOS and have 2 kids, first DS took me 7 months and was natural, second DS took around 2 years and i had to go to a fertility clinic where i had 1000mg of Metformin and 150mg of Clomid, this was to get me to ovulate.
good luck OP

Thank you - good to hear some positive outcomes.

I've been TTC for 11 months now but glad we have a diagnosis and can move forward from here.

after 12 months, get your doctor to refer you to a fertility clinic.
what are your cycles like?

unknownscot · 09/01/2019 14:31

Was going well when I initially came off but so irregular now.

anything over 34 days is classed as a non ovulation.
Your cycles were alot like mine, i would go to your doctors now and ask to be referred.

Thanks - I'm due at my doctors next week so will start the referral process then.

Hi I was diagnosed with PCOS and fibroids and was put on a low GI diet throughout pregnancy to keep my sugar levels stable. I conceived naturally (but after having had my tubes flushed) and had a few extra checks during pregnancy, but mainly had to watch what I ate. Second time round I had MC at 5 wks, but that was nothing to do with PCOS. I also took tips from The Fertility Diet book.

@DoingMyBest2010 Thanks - yeah I've been reading up on things today and read about diet. The past two years I've been getting tested for celiac disease, it was negative. I assume it's never been celiac - but in fact linked to the PCOS!
