Evap Line?

Driving myself crazy and I think I already know the answer sadly....

Been ttc for 7 months and absolutely nothing so far. I'm around 11dpo (pos opk on CD9) and on CD22. AF is due in 4 days.

I stupidly took a hpt this morning that I'd had lying in the back of the cupboard. It's a cheapy Asda one so I don't know if that makes a difference. The test was bfn which I fully expected once again.

I've just gone to empty the bin and I swear I can see a really faint line on the test. There was some condensation on the plastic so I've taken that off and I can still see a faint line on the strip. It's an evap line isn't it? I'm getting ahead of myself aren't I? :(

I can see the line but you can't say it's positive if it appeared after the time. Evap lines do occur on old tests. All you can do is retest. Good luck Thanks

Thank you. At least I'm not seeing things!

I think I already know I'm out again this month though, sadly.

My BFP looked liked that on an ASDA test....

Fingers crossed Flowers

I took the test because I got a strong positive on an OPK test.

After getting this line I went out and bought a FRER early detection test and got a faint line on that too.

Just given in and done a first response test. Stupid really because I'm only on CD23 of a 27 day cycle.

Dilute mid-day urine and I've been feeling AF cramps all day too so I must be out.... except the test has come back BFP!!!! It must be wrong surely?!?!

Are cramps a bad thing?!

You are pregnant!

Zoe2411 · 09/01/2019 14:51

Deffo pregnant ! X

Lymphy · 09/01/2019 15:32

No that’s not a wrong test, you are pregnant, congratulations!
Cramps are normal it can feel like AF is en route which really messes with your mind, just remember there’s burrowing and padding going on in your uterus ( which is tiny) so cramping is going to happen x

Vicsleighbob · 09/01/2019 16:10

Thank You! I genuinely can't believe it. Now I don't know whether I should tell my DH or wait for AF to be late, just in case. I don't want to get his hopes up too soon x

Congratulations!!

I had cramps with all 3 of my pregnancies in the very early days. Perfectly normal, it's how I knew I was pregnant with DC3 Smile
