I used them when ttc my 2.5yo but can't remember as only used them for 1 cycle.

For those that use them.

How many days of flashing smileys is 'normal' before a static and do you have sex everyday of flashing and static or every other day?

Cycle 1 ttc #2 and got a flashing smiley so had sex. Will test again in the morning but wondering whether to have sex again tomorrow or wait until the next day?

It can vary depending on the person. I range between 2-5 days flashing smiley. I try to dtd every day of flashing and then day of static and day after.

Same as previous poster, although I had quite a lot of flashing ones on my first month / try.

Good luck xx

The CB opks and one step ovulation sticks from Amazon didn’t work for me at all. My periods are regular but I’ve never had a positive opk - just a flashing smiley for a few days at best. They stressed me out as I was continually worrying that I wasn’t ovulating! The month that we decided not to use them was the month that I fell pregnant - it was our 4th cycle.

Btw, clear blue has a really great helpline! Apparently, once you get a flashing smiley, it’ll stay like that until you either get a static smiley or you don’t use the opk for three days (it resets itself after three days on non-use). X

I had flashy for three days (testing at 11) then on the third day at 3 it went static.

Day 2 flashing smiley. Will see if I feel like dtd tonight but if not tonight then definitely tomorrow and Sunday at least (if DH has no objections of course Grin)
