I was due my period on the 18 December and I started spotting a brown discharge instead by Friday the 21 I was still having this brown spotting so I took a pregnancy test in the afternoon and to my surprise it came back positive the line showed up before the control line which has never happened me before. I still continued to have brown spotting. On 26 December this turned to bright pink with some back pain. So I assumed this was an early loss like I have experienced before but on the 27 I was still getting a positive pregnancy test. I am still spotting a bit now. Anyone been through anything similar?

I am afraid to do another test because if it's still positive, I really don't know what's wrong with me.

If it's still positive, I'd try to get seen by the episode. It would mean you're (still) pregnant.

I have contacted my hospital and they have given me an appointment for the epu but not until Thursday. My head is ready to explode thinking about all the things that could be possibly wrong.

Or it's very possible that absolutely nothing is 'wrong'. Light bleeding in early pregnancy is not usual, but not uncommon either.

Thank you, I got back onto the hospital and I have to go in today so we will see. I don't feel pregnant anymore so I am not expecting good news.
