Fainting spells

Hello all,

So, my inner cave woman is gearing me up for my first pregnancy - I can't get it off my mind. It terrifies me but I'm doing my best to research and learn all I can about it all before deciding upon starting a family.

But there is a rather unusual obstacle... every time I read an article about childbirth I either pass out or nearly pass out.

Literally, last week paramedics were called to my office because I fainted at my desk after reading an article about the stages of labour. I have just recovered from another fainting spell after reading about positive birth stories.

I'm a healthy, robust, brave, regular person. This is so out of character.

What on earth is going on - please tell me I'm not the only one?!

Just don't read them! You'll have enough time to prep for labour when pregnant. And although it hurts, it's good pain. Try not to think about it yet. It's a few hours in the scale of a lifetime.
