Would you go skiing and use hot tub during the 2 ww during the holidays?

During your 2 ww if you will be on a ski holiday with family, would you ski and use hot tub? For example, we are going for 10 days. Towards the end of the trip, if we are successful in TTC I would know and obviously then I would no longer ski or use the hot tub. However, you can't stop living while TTC. But if you were to be pregnant, is it okay to use hot tub early on? Also, what if you fall when skiing?

I'd carry on as normal. You can't put your life on hold for two weeks every month.

I skied and used the hot tub at 9w with Dd. Also had a glass of wine or 2. It was 2006

I personally wouldn't but only you can decide what you are happy with.

Personally I'd say skiing was fine. You'd have to injure yourself very badly to hurt the feotus at that stage. Hot tubs are advised against as there are risks if you get too hot (and in a hot tub you can't sweat to cool down like you would in hot weather). But if you restrict your hot tub sessions to five minutes or less, and get out before you feel hot, I'm sure it would be fine.

I wouldn’t do anything that could potentially prevent implantation - so personally I would ski but I wouldn’t use a hot tub...

I would ski but not hot tub (but then I hate hot tubs...)

Thanks everyone :) I have decided I will ski, but not use the hot tub. I did some research and it seems that skiing early pregnancy is fine, but hot tub is not. Apparently there are some birth defects that could potentially be caused if you get overheated.
