Hi guys,

Has anyone got any recommendations on pre conception tablets and other tips?

Have tried a few things in the past but not had much luck x

I used seven seas trying to conceive and thought they were great. They really regulated my long cycles too!

No worries. It only took me a month to conceive but I'd been on the tablets for a good few months prior. I have PCOS so was surprised it was so quick. I was also tracking with Fertility Friend so knew when to try. Think it was the combo

Aw I'm happy it did work for you, I had endometriosis but had it removed September so hopefully it will be soon, i got pregnant straight away with my last two but both miscarried 😔 I think I need a new tracker as mine says I ovulate like 5 days after the last day of my period which I don't think is accurate xx

So sorry to hear that. I hope it all works out well for you. Definitely recommend FF as a tracker - I paid for the upgrade and thought it was great xx

I’ve been using Pregnacare but only been taking for a few months, trying for a couple of months. Took just folic acid before that. (I have PCOS so unsure if that will impact things)

Emm1e · 19/11/2018 19:33

Thank you I will give it a go!x

I think I'll start taking pregnacare again, it's a pain when you want it to happen it feels like forever, wishing you all the best xx

Conceptions vits don't help you get pregnant generally. They are used to supplement nutrition and provide nutrients a growing embryo would need. So if your diet is already pretty good, the nhs recommend you need folic acid and vit d.

Some women have weird interactions with these vits and it messes up their cycles.

Another one to ask your doctor about would be CoQ10 or ubiquinol. Research suggests CoQ10 may support fertility in both men and women!

Thank you! Will book in soon and ask them x

I'm only taking folic acid and vitamin D as those were recommended on the NHS website. Plus you can get them much cheaper than the multivitamins.

Emm1e · 25/11/2018 18:06

I'm trying folic acid atm, I'll try vitamin D too thank you xxxx
