And how old were you when you started trying?

One month short of 33 and first cycle.
(dc1&2, non id twins).

27 and 9 months felt like 2 years

1st cycle after being on the pill for about 8 years at 26.
1st cycle after DS was born (he was 6months!) at 27.

26 - 2nd cycle having been on contraception for ~10 years.

Took us a bit by surprise 😂 we know we were lucky though!

I started trying for my first child on my 35th birthday. I was pregnant 1 month later. I started trying for my second when I was nearly 37. It took about 6 months to conceive.

27 and it took six years and several rounds of ivf.

Age 34 2 months trying
Age 36 First time. Literally had unprotected sex once but was using ovulation sticks. Only 12 weeks though so hopefully it'll work out.

Started trying not that long after I was 29. Took 12 cycles to conceive and had baby just shy of my 31st birthday.

Baby 1 1st month - 32
Baby 2 2nd month - 34

31 - first month
33 - wasn’t trying, still breastfeeding the first child

We’ll be trying for a 3rd next year, I’m quite worried it’s not going to be so easy having been so lucky the first 2 times.

I'm surprised by how many conceived in the first or second cycle, I thought it was unusual. I've probably just spent too much time on the TTC threads though.

Not that unusual, 5 of my close friends also got lucky first month, one of those with both of her children. I think age has a lot to do with it though, we were all late 20s/early 30s. I only know 1 person who tried for her first at 39, she gave up in the end when it didn’t happen after a year trying.

24, I had one "real" period after stopping the pill.

Age 30. Took my last pill 8th August and got a BFP 27th October. Extremely lucky (and surprised) after 15 years on the pill!

It took me nearly 4 years to conceive my daughter. I was 22
Then took 5years to conceive baby number 2 and miscarried at 10weeks. I was 29.

Age 39 and 5mths.

DS took 9 years, 5 IVF cycles and 3 egg donors
Currently pregnant 9 months after having DS by complete surprise
