I have natural cycles, I put my temperature in this morning, and it's now told me instead of being in 'high ovulation' it's now gone and told me that I actually ovulated last Sunday?
Instead of just relying on the app, are there any signs that I can look at to see when I'm ovulating? I've always relied on the app so never thought about any signs that I show in person.
Thanks!

You might feel teinges or little pains on one side which would be your ovary realising an egg. Also your body makes thin slimy discharge (like egg whites) to allow the sperm to get through it so keep an eye out for that. I also used to use opks which you pee on and they show you when you have a lh surge (can also mean your ovulating) goodluck x

*twinges

I get pain, like twinges in my ovaries and period-like pain in my back.

Increased discharge, like egg whites.

My mood dips a couple of days beforehand and I feel nauseous and more retired than usual.

Retired, should say more tired!

I get period pains and increased clear discharge when im ovulating, which was confirmed when i had an internal scan recently and she asked where in my cycle i was, i said i was ovulating and she confirmed that i was "ovulating beautifully", not what i wanted to hear as im sterilised and mid 40s.....

It’s really difficult to tell accurately, hence the nhs advice to dtd every other day through your whole cycle. Some people get reliable twinges/cm changes etc but some people don’t!

FWIW I was using natural cycles as a contraceptive as I didn’t want to go back on hormonal contraception between pregnancies - it didn’t work for me and I got pregnant when the app told me I was already a week post ovulation.....
