Hello, AF finally arrived this morning after coming off the pill 28th Sept. I'm 40 so need to get a move on with this ttc malarkey! I have three DC all conceived easily without actually trying but for some reason I'm panicking about actually managing to get pregnant this time.

I know I won't be able to keep track of BBT due to demands of work etc it would be difficult to track daily at the same time. I've bought some OPKs but I'm unsure when to start using them etc. Any advice gratefully accepted. I'm obviously not sure of my cycle lengths due to coming off pill but in the past they have always bee 28-30 days.

I think normally you take your shortest cycle length as the one which guides you as to when to start using the OPKs, so for you 28 day cycle. With the OPKs I used it said to start testing on CD11 for a 28 day cycle. (If I'm remembering right!)

Good luck! Hope your cycles regulate quickly and you don't have any problems again this time around! Smile

Thanks @KnitKitty I'll start with the OPKs in 10 days then?

I conceived at 42 op.... Cheap opk off ebay, tested 2 pm and 10 pm from day 10. Always caught a positive, usually the 10 pm test! And usually day 11/12!!
Conceived on third cycle!
Good luck!
