Hi everyone, I'm new around here, just wondering what are the best ovulation tests to use please, I've got some strip tests from boots at the minute, just recently came off the pill so testing everyday to try and track my periods and see if I'm ovulating but had nothing yet, also when is the best time of day to test I've been testing in the morning is this ok? Thank you. Any help would be greatly appreciated xx

No, don't do in the morning. I tried to use them for 3 months straight and in the last month when I started doing them between 5pm-10pm was when I got my only positive!

I used Poundland ones. Twice a day around the time you think you're ovulating. I did them afternoon and evening. They always worked great.

I used the cheap ones off Amazon. I have irregular cycles so used them for 3+ weeks at a time but eventually I got positives each month. The timings of my periods (and BFP this cycle!) indicate that they were pretty accurate.
It's apparently best to do them afternoon or evening as the hormone they look for is supposed to spike later in the day. I generally did mine between 6-7pm after getting home from work.

clear blue digital a straightforward yes or no without having to analyse lines etc

Thanks so much for all the advice, I've been out and bought the clear blue digital one with the smiley faces unfortunately no smiley face for me today, as I've just recently come off the pill I think it's going to take a while for my body to adjust, but here's hoping that it will happen soon!
