ttc for 9 months

Hi,

I've now been ttc for 9 months, i of course thought it would be really easy. i came of dianette which i was on due to bad skin and coming off it my skin has gone so oily, my hair has thinned but down below has gone thick. I generally felt awful about myself for a while but that seems to have passed. I've gained weight, for the past 3-4 months i've really cut down i'm exercising regularly and i cannot shift any weight which is really frustrating.
my wee smells, sometimes its so bad, its embarrassing. my armpits were also getting really smelly to but i've changed my deodorant to a strong one and that's fine now.
i went to the doctors a few weeks ago about all of these combined things, the doctor didn't seem too concerned he sent me for blood test on day 21 of my cycle. the results came back at the high end of normal for testosterone and low for progesterone, he said its likely that i didn't release an egg in that cycle. He thinks its all fine and said if i'm not pregnant by month 12 to call and he will refer me but obviously my mind is in overdrive. in the last 9 months of trying i've not had one ovulation test that has come up positive.
does anyone have any thoughts

How often do you test using opks? I now test 3 times a day as otherwise I can miss the surge.

Hello it sounds like you may have PCOS. Acne, excess hair and hair thinning and weight gain, as well as higher levels of testosterone are all symptoms. Do you have regular periods? To be diagnosed with pcos you need to have 2 out of the 3 of the following: irregular periods, excess testosterone, poly cystic ovaries. If I were you I would research pcos, start tracking your bbt to tell if you are ovulating and go back to your doctor and ask for an ultrasound of your ovaries

I test once or twice a day but I can’t do it at work. I use the clue app and I try to update it as much as possible.

Stellarfox, I’m waiting for results of a scan. I’m really hoping I’m just being a drama queen. But 9 months feels like forever I know it’s not but ugrhhh.
