Delilah7, got cramps and some light cm so guessing af is on the way this week unfortunately. Still, only the first cycle dtd on the 'correct' days (at least according to the clear blue sticks) so onward and upward!
What about you? X

@flapjackered I wonder if it was due to the long cycles then, and the actual thyroid problem. yeah, my cycles have been quite regular, first was 21 days then they have been gradually going up from 24 to 26 days.
The only worry really is the prolonged spotting before my period and short luteal phase, I'm worried about a hormonal imbalance and know PCOS can cause it. I've heard low progesterone can cause early miscarriage and spotting can be a sign of that.
I also get prolonged ovulation pain on the same side I had an ovarian cyst removed (i think it was actually on my tube) when I was 15, but it lasts about a week either side of ovulation and I get twinges every now and again.
I did have this before I went on the pill about 10 years ago, and I had really irregular periods, had a scan as I was worried it was another cyst, it wasn't but that's when they diagnosed PCOS as my ovaries showed signs of multiple cysts.

Been on the pill ever since and not had any further problems at all. But yeah, been totally regular since coming off.
Maybe it's cured?? Who knows?!

@FivexFive defo hard in the first few cycles, first and second were the hardest! Keep pushing through hun 😘 I'm ok. Took another OPK this afternoon and it was negative or with a faint line so I'm guessing I missed my proper dark OPK! :( ive done the deed three days this week and will tonight too so who knows x

Delilah7, thanks sweet! Suppose I shouldn't rule myself out until af arrives but it's just a feeling. Can't complain though, will just use the remaining sticks next cycle and try again! Hopefully after that, the ap will be enough.
You never know, with all the dtd you could well be in with a chance! Xx

@FivexFive exactly. You're never out till she rears her head. I started to enjoy her after a few cycles due to knowing I was regular after the pill. Now after the MC I worry it'll go all weird 😂 my flo app and EWCM on its own got me pregnant last month so! 😂 xx

@feverbee mine get progressively darker but I think it’s really common just to one day get a positive and no real build up too x

DH bought me something super special for my birthday last year and after we moved in I hid it somewhere in case we were burgled again... I've stripped the house top to bottom and it's gone 😭 I'm sooooo stressed out, can't stop crying. No DTD for me tonight 😭

Delilah7 · 16/09/2018 14:51

@cupcakesandglitter oh no... silly question but have you looked EVERYWHERE? It'll be in the safest place you normally put things hun if not.... it'll turn up. Where else could it be?! ❤️

@cupcakesandglitter where would you hide it if you had to hide it now?
I bet it's in the house somewhere it's just not where you think it is.

I once thought I'd lost an earring, DH bought me them and I wore them on our wedding day so really special to me.
Went to another wedding a few weeks later wearing them, and woke up with only one earring in, spent the whole morning crying my eyes out, ringing the venue, looking everywhere to see if it'd fallen out, then eventually it turned up. In the box! I'd obviously taken enough care to take one out before bed and carefully put it away (usually I would never do this I would just stick earrings on my bedside table til the morning!) and just been too tipsy to do both!
If it's special to you, you would have taken care with it - it will definitely turn up hun xx

@Delilah7 honestly I've even checked in my socks 😭😭😭 sorting through the spare room just in case but I can't think of anywhere else! Is it just me that hides things in really good places... but so good that I forget where it is?

Sorry @Crossfitgirl I didn't see your message - that gives me hope!! It's a Chanel Brooch that's limited edition so I can't even replace it 😭 I remember thinking to put it somewhere that no one would ever think to check but that's too sensible 😂 x

@Delilah7 thank god it's not just me 😂😭

Here's a question for you girls.
When do you think I should class my DPO?! that OPK that was nearly positive was yesterday morning. flo is saying based on that being 'positive' I ovulated yesterday, I've still got twinges but no positive OPK. Xx

Hey guys. I've been lurking and reading again
(31, cycle 3, 5dpo, infrequent poorly timed DTD this month!)

@Delilah7 hard to say, I guess the only way to know is 14 days before next AF but hope she doesn't come!! Has your cycle been regular before?

I have a question. What's the earliest everyone has done a pregger test?? I keep thinking about it but clearly it would be negative haha

Report
cupcakesandglitter · 16/09/2018 17:04

@Delilah7 I'd see what your OPKs are like today - drink the same amount of water as you did before OPK yesterday, don't drink more!! Hold it in as long as you can do you get the clearest result. If they get fainter I'd count maybe today as ov day as OPK detect surge before ov? Xx

Hi @poodlepip, I think I've seen you on another thread 😊 this is my second cycle - last cycle I think I started at 12dpo maybe? But they were negative anyway so zero idea when the best time to test is xx

MrsC87 · 16/09/2018 17:05

@Crossfitgirl is spotting something I should worry about or go to docs about? I spot every time before AF so is this something to be concerned about?

Report
Crossfitgirl · 16/09/2018 17:05

@poodlepip there's no too early. Crazy over here did one today, CD8, before I have even ovulated!! 😂
Earliest I did one properly though was 9dpo, (partly the reason I did another into this cycle, thought it was too early then blatantly thought I could still be pg even after AF) but mrsof20118 I am sure said she was 7dpo with her BFP this morning??
I read on some other threads people getting BFPs at 7dpo too. (I stalked the short LP crew).

@poodlepip I don't know why I'm so confused at your before AF comment 😂😂

@cupcakesandglitter I've hardly drank anything today and they've been awfully faint. Enough to see there's a little line but defo negative Hun so I think I'm gonna count ovulation today xx

@Delilah7 do you get any other signs of ovulation that you could use to pinpoint it? The sides of my boobs get really painful once I’ve ov’ed, do you get anything like that? If not I’d assume that ov was 24 hours after the almost positive opk and count from there, so I’d say that you were 0 dpo today and you ov’ed this morning.

cupcakesandglitter · 16/09/2018 17:11

@Delilah7 ooh yes I'd count it as today!! Get riding again, good luck xxx
