@Crossfitgirl hi darling. Only managing to do one a day so I could of easily missed it. Doing them in the evening time apart from weekends when I do more. I had back twinges and ovulation pains yesterday and tummy's still abit weird this morning so it's definitely happening over the yesterday today and maybe tomorrow I'd say. I logged the one I posted on here that's the nearly positive as a positive and it said my ovulation would be today... I feel abit more lubed up down there at the moment so it could be right. Ill POAS shortly 😂😂

@Delilah7 you're doing great with what you can control! Most of us are here because we didn't get immediately pregnant from just one dtd. I just wish what is available to us at home would provide more insight on what's actually happening inside of our bodies.

Yeah I want free clearblue! Lol!

Ok ladies for the first time ever, I have joined POAS madness. And by that I mean actual madness (the OPKs I don't class as madness anymore).

I did a pregnancy test this morning.

I'm only cd9 and I haven't even ovulated yet, but I just had this feeling - all the symptoms last month, then reading you can still have a period when you're pg, and been having very light pink spotting since AF went and some mild crampy feelings.

Anyway the crazy was a BFN.

Thank fuck because I was drinking like a fish on holiday!!

What am I even doing??????

FlapJackered · 16/09/2018 08:21

@Delilah7 I reckon I would take that as your positive, but try and keep Dtd every 2/3 days for a while just in case.

@Crossfitgirl thanks lovely, very happy if it means a shorter cycle but not holding out hope for a bfp, as it didn't happen when we hit the nail on the head last cycle.
I did the clinical trial with clearblue and you get lots of free stuff while you're doing the trial. I wouldn't mention your PCOS though when you apply.
If you search on mn you should find it.

Aww @mrsc87 stupid AF. I was hopeful for you! Mine did the same this month, spotted longer than normal then turned up a day late just to be mean.
Wine?? 🍷

I am on a diet starting today, and I think I may stop drinking for a while after my week of cocktails!

@delilah7 @flapjackered looked into the trial, googled it and recruitment for it has closed.
I checked the exclusion criteria (from their last study) and PCOS is excluded so I can't do it anyway.
If I lied, I would just be falsifying medical science, I'd rather pay for them (working in the NHS I can't do this, it's not right!)

It makes me not trust their studies though, as I bet loads of people lie for the free tests! I bet their stats are well skewed.

Yes don't worry I shall treat myself with a nice glass of wine @Crossfitgirl
I'm also going to start healthy eating again from tomorrow!
At least I've learnt something else about my cycles and body this month so remaining positive! FX for next month 😊

In terms of OPK's are particular ones better, so the clearblue ones or the cheapie amazon ones?

Report
Crossfitgirl · 16/09/2018 10:07

@mrsc87 I think the cheapies ones work fine. Plus you can do them more often so you don't miss the surge.
The difference with the CB ones is they identify fertile days so you can start DTD in the lead up to ov, whereas the cheapies just give you the positive so 12-36 hours notice of ov.
But if you have a rough idea of your FW you could be DTD every other day or so in the lead up anyway. Plus some of us get faint lines in the lead up to the positive so I guess you could say that was like fertile days too.

Personal choice I guess.
I'm using both at the mo, haven't decided which I prefer!

Ooh also the clearblue ones are POAS once in a morning which is more convenient than peeing in a pot and dipping later in the day. Xx

How many dpo are you?

Oh I can see it now @mrsof20118 omg omg it's a BFP!!
That's too dark to be an evap line!!

BFP!!!! Aaargh Congratulations!!!!

Report
FlapJackered · 16/09/2018 10:21

WAHHH! @mrsof20118 That's a definite bfp! Congratulations! I had a good feeling for you this cycle. You must be so happy!! 🎉🎉🎉🥂🥂

@MrsC87 I use both IC from amazon and clearblue. I like using both as if one misses it I hope the other catches it! That makes for a lot of poas though 😂

@Crossfitgirl oops I shouldn't really encourage lying on clearblue trial. To be fair I didn't lie about my hypothyroid and I thought that would exclude me but it didn't. They excluded me after the first cycle though as it lasted 47 days! So I don't think they include any results in their study unless the cycles are a normal length. I am not sure how I feel about that though as it is not very representative of the average cycle!

I'm in a bit of shock if it is. I blame you for poas @Crossfitgirl your crazy talk gave me an excuse to be crazy too!
This is the thing I'm probably only 7dpo . It's still too early and may be a false positive? Tested with second wee test after a massive cup of tea.
