Low sperm mobility (TTC)

Hello all and hope you are all well
I have been TTC for 3 months (I know its very little time) but I am very worried due to age I am 38 soon and my husband is 47.
He had a low sperm count and mobility results (the doctor said his sperm only lives for 6 hours with 58% mobility and after that it drops to 2%). We are having more tests done and taking all the vitamins and Fertility Aid ones.
I am tracking my ovulation dates (which seems to be confusing on the diary so I will start on the kit as well).
We have had long periods of no sex in the past due to my stressful job and when I was diagnosed with anxiety. Things are much better now but we are a bit stuck and nervous so having sex doesn't come natural.
I have read so much about whether having sex regularly helps the sperm quality (the 'flow') or weakens the sperm and I am unsure about it all.
Do I have regular sex or go targeted given the very little window we have (6 hours sperm life and has to be bang on my ovulation!).
Or we just go down IVF route asap so we don't waste more time?
Thank you

If I were you, I'd try some major lifestyle changes for 3 or four months (for your dh). No smoking, drinking, caffeine. Eating 6+ of his five a day, loose shorts, no cycling and having sex every other day. If he retests at the end of that period without better results, I'd be looking to go to ivf. Time is not your friend.

Oh and supplements too!! So proxeed and profertil get used by a lot of men on here. He could also try ubiquinol.

Yes, and if choosing an ubiquinol, it is better to choose one that is water and fat-soluble for absorption.
