One test says yes, other says no

Hello all,

The test I am referring to is the ovulation one. Last time I conceived I relied on the "horrendous pain in side" method of conception and it worked very well. This time around I note that my 'luteal phase' (a phrase I had never heard of 2 weeks ago) is short (10 days) but my tests have a mixed story. The posh one from Boots says yes, the cheap(er) one from t'internet says no, which would you go for? If you believe the test, how long after would you think was optimum to do the bizzo?

I'd go with the posh test, or the pain in the side method, which worked for me both times.

Thanks - pain has been tragically absent for about three months so I was pleased to note any test that had me ovulating. Posh test wins.

Also, if you do the bizzo every day you can't miss that egg, whenever it chooses to show up

Ah - yes, you are right. I was hoping to avoid this topic but ... how to put this delicately, we need to focus our efforts when it's most likely, the "shotgun" approach is not doable! Hence my Q.

I see
Posh test it is then.
Good luck!

Okay, now bizzo is done (yesterday) I'm assuming it is impossible to be feeling symptoms today? As I recall last time with ds I felt a lot of fatigue within a few days and the heightened sense of smell came within a week. I'm sure I'm just psyching myself out.
