So according to my period tracker, I ovulated on or around the 27th June, and we had unprotected sex on the 2nd July.

My period is 2 days late (26 day cycle), and I've started bleeding but it's not anything like my normal period which is usually v v v heavy but this is light and pink..

When am I most likely to get a positive test if I am pregnant. I realise it's not been long since we had sex but I have a fairly short cycle 24-26 days and it's usually bang on.

As soon as period is late you are good to test.

If you definitely ovulated 5 days before unprotected sex you will not get pregnant. But I always ovulate later than my app tells me I know this from using opks. So if you ovulated closer to the unprotected sex then you may have caught.

Thank you :) last time I got pregnant it was a few days after the app said I ovulated so who knows!! Maybe this time it'll be the one!

If you did ovulate on 27th, sex 5 days later wouldn't get you pregnant. You could only be pregnant if you ovulated later.

You can expect a positive (or accurate negative) test the day after your period is due/ 14dpo.

Have you done a test yet? Last month I had a really light period - pink then brown when it’s usually heavy and red- assumed it was just a weird period. Got a strong bfp 2 weeks later as I started feeling nauseous. So if it was a break through bleed rather than just a light period you should get a bfp by now....
