I know I am very blessed to have a beautiful 7 month old boy.

I have started to think though of ttc for no2 as me and my siblings are very close in age and i would love for my son to have a similar close age to a sibling.

I breastfeed but he has one bottle of milk before bed and we do baby led weaning too. He does eat quite a bit but not enough to rely on solids for all nutrition. He sleeps in his own room and mostly sleeps through the night without a feed.

In May I had my first period since pregnancy and I was overjoyed and started thinking of what I needed to do next to prepare to ttc.

June my period didn't come and then I noticed my cm became egg white. I did an opk and I was ovulating when period was due so now I'm on day 40 of my cycle apparently....

Any tips on how I can get my period regular again ( without giving up breastfeeding) xx

Hi, I'm in the same boat and also have a 7 month old son although I've now started reducing breastfeeding and only do it at night. Still no af!
You can try a herbal tablet or tincture called Agnus Castus/Vitex which is safe during bfing although it some cases it can reduce your supply. It's used to help balance hormones and regulate your cycle. I'm already taking it as I have naturally long cycles and wanted to get a head start for when af finally arrives! We've been ntnp since March but until fertility returns I'm stuck waiting 😫
Good luck and I hope you get your bfp soon 🙂

Upping your calorie intake can help bring back your fertility whilst breastfeeding. It basically convinces your body that it's got enough energy to sustain a pregnancy and continue breastfeeding. Good luck!
