What pregnancy tests are reliable?

Hi all :)

First cycle TTC #1, what pregnancy tests do you guys all believe to be reliable?

I've bought quite a few cheap Asda ones and then I've got 2 clear blue for when I really think I might be pregnant.

Is this a good idea? Or are the cheap tests useless?

Nothing wrong with the cheap ones, perfectly reliable, regardless of price.
I've done bloody hundreds of tests over the years, cheap ones are fine.

Depends how early you want to test. I made thr mistake the other month of stockpiling frok home bargains only yo find none of them were able to test early (we think something is happening but not sticking hence tje need for early ones).

They're all 99% accurate if you wait until you've missed a period.

Otherwise, if you want to test early, buy a First Response

Honestly they all do the same job! I used a combination of dearer ones like Clear Blue Digital and First Response, and also cheaper Boots and supermarket own brand ones. They all gave the same outcome, just don't test too early and if you're pregnant they'll all show up as positive😁
Good luck with TTC!

Don't use blue dye tests. Even clear blue-collar they often have a faint line, whether pregnant or not.

If you want something cheap to pee on pre missed period then you can't go wrong with an internet cheapy (one step from Amazon). Then if you get a faint line on that use a first response early response, again cheapest on Amazon- don't get the raid response ones though, they aren't as sensitive.

Once your period is late (e.g. the day after it was due) any test is accurate and reliable.
