Hey I’m new to posting on here so hi everyone 😊 so we have been ttc for about 6 months, yesterday ( 3 days late ) I took 2 Morrison’s own cheap text & I can see very faint lines on them. Today I’ve take a clear blue digital & it says not pregnant. I’ve got lots of white / clear cm / sore boobs / sickness & I’m just confused - what are your thoughts? Fingers crossed for everyone ttc xx

Clear Blue aren't such a sensitive test - may be a few days before hcg shows up on one!!

Thanks for the replies 😊 is there such a thing as a false positive? When should I test again?

I can clearly see a line on each of those tests. Congratulations op.

Those digital were the last ones to say pregnant for me as well. Think I took 4 that said not pregnant but my cheapies and first response were positive. 🤷‍♀️
I would say that’s positive and congratulations

Thanks everyone, I’ll take another in the morning! I’ll update tomorrow Xx

Hey everyone, took another clearblue digital this morning & it’s still saying not pregnant ☹️ I’m so confused as why would I get 2 faint pos then 2 digital negatives? Feel like I’m in limbo not knowing! May take a trip to the drs this week if still no definite answer.

I don't think this warrants a GP appointment. It's overwhelmingly likely that either it's just too early or you're experiencing a chemical pregnancy. In both scenarios, time should be the answer and there's nothing a GP can do.

If you continue to experience a mixture of pos and neg and any pain or odd bleeding in the next two weeks, seeking medical help is advisable but for now, I'm afraid you just need to wait for a few days.

Good luck and welcome to MN.

Bin the digis, they're an expensive gimmick bit of fun.

If you're late you should get a pretty clear line. Maybe try again in a week if AF doesn't arrive.

SirVixofVixHall · 10/06/2018 12:41

Yes, use a normal non digital test. First response or something like that.

Muffin7 · 10/06/2018 13:35

Hello. Are your cycles usually very regular? I would probably leave it a couple of days and then test again using a digital, easier said than done though I know!

Louloumummy · 11/06/2018 08:05

Thanks for all of the support ladies, it Wasnt meant to happen this month for us - AF has arrived. Maybe next time - I guess this is why they tell us not to test too soon 😕 xx

I am sorry op. Must have been a chemical. I hope you get lucky next month.

Louloumummy · 11/06/2018 18:44

Thank you SirVix ( love the name 😂 ) I am pretty gutted but I guess there’s not much I can do other than keep fingers crossed for next time xx

Yes, it is rough to go through the hope of positive tests. That is the drawback of early tests, they are exciting but then sometimes will show a hormone rise from a very early conception that hasn’t implanted. Do something nice for yourself op, it is upsetting going through stuff like this. I had it once, but my next two pregnancies did stick.
