Hi, I'm new to all this and I'm going to lose the plot trying to figure out what's going on, bit of background, I have a mirena coil which reached it's 5yr change in may (I didn't find this out till mid may 🙈), I'm normally regular with my periods but my last one was on the 20/4/18 and I have missed my may period, I have spent a small fortune on pregnancy tests, clear blue and first response, clear blue all 4 negative (last one yesterday 2/6/18), first response all 4 positive (last one 1/6/18), but they weren't dark lines, they all appeared at the 3 minute mark, easy to see and didn't disappear but they still looked faint, which test should I trust??? I'd be roughly 6wks now so clear blue would have picked it up surely if I was? I can't see my doctor till the end of next week and I don't know what to make of these tests! any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

First response are supposed to be much more sensitive. I suppose all you can do is test again in a day or two. I didn't get a positive with clear blue until 3 days after the frer xx

I’m sorry but I think you are about to have an early miscarriage - you seem pregnant but the level of hormone not high or going up so not a good sign

You should see your doctor because if you get pregnant with a mirena coil there is a higher chance that it could be an ectopic pregnancy. They will probably arrange blood tests to check whether your hormone levels are going up or down and they may also arrange a scan for you.

If the earliest you can see your doctor isn’t for another two weeks then my advice would be to ring the surgery tomorrow and ask for an urgent appointment.

Thank you for the help! I'll call the doctors in the morning to get seen earlier, I have 4 children, eldest 22yrs and youngest 14yrs so it's been many years since I last took any tests and I used clear blue with all 4 so this puzzled me xx
