As it says above really ladies. So, I have been tracking for 3 months but this is only month 2 of ttc. Just trying to figure out if my period will be due earlier this month as my cycles and ovulation dates have changed a bit. So;

Feb-/Mar
32 day cycle
Got peak on cd22

Mar/April
30 day cycle
Got peak on cd22 20

April / may (this cycle)
Got peak on cd16

I'm currently approx 7dpo and my app thinks my period will be due 31/05 however, that's 32 days?

I'm assuming testing is around how many days post ov you are but when do we think af might (hopefully not!) be due?

Thanks xxx

The length of time between ovulation and period tends not to change more than a day or so month to month. It's only the first part of your cycle, from period to ovulation, that can vary a lot, depending.

Once you've ovulated, your period will show up in roughly 14 days (or whatever your personal luteal phase is).

From those dates, it looks like you have a 10-day luteal phase, which is on the lower side but not abnormally so. Therefore you can expect your period roughly 10 days after you ovulate.

@Celebelly - thanks. So in theory if I'm (roughly) 7 dpo I should expect af in another 3 days or so? X

Yes I'd say so. Sometimes if you've come off birth control it can be iffy, but if you have definitely ovulated then I'd expect your period in around 3/4 days, judging by your previous cycles.

Great thanks. Xx
