False positive!?

So recently I've been getting symptoms such as sore boobs, stomach cramps, lower back pain, nausea and fatigue. I already have a 18 month year old son and was soon planning on getting my implant removed to try for baby no 2. However, as I've been pregnant before, my instinct was to do a pregnancy test as I just feel pregnant ( if you know what I mean)Confused so just to put my mind at rest I decided to do a digital test. It came back positive!? Is it possible that it is a false positive and I could of done it wrong or messed it up?I was not expecting a positive result, I have been on the implant now since having my son!

I don't trust digital pregnancy tests so think I am going to try a normal line one!

Very unlikely to be a false positive on a digital.

Yes I know, the fact I've been on the implant for so long just makes it hard to believe. I'm so scared the pregnancy could be ectopic or something not right, with me having the implant in Sad

Was the test in date? Can you feel the implant in your arm still? Definitely see the GP asap as there is an increased risk of ectopic with the implant.

Yes I only bought the test today and yes implant still in my arm. I'm going to ring up first thing tomorrow, I am so scared Sad

So I've just done another 2 tests, normal line ones, and both negative Confused

Digitals can very occasionally be faulty (as with any technical equipment). Get a FRER - if it's positive on a digital it will almost certainly be positive on a FRER. If it's negative, then wait a couple of days and try again to make sure.

Alternatively, if you are quite far along, some pregnancy tests won't register as you have too much HCG for them to handle. If you think it's possible you could be significantly more than a few weeks, then try diluting your urine with some water and trying a normal test again.

Maybe I had a faulty digital test then, to be honest even though I do want a second baby I'd rather not be pregnant right now with having the implantSmile I'm going to book in with the doctor tomorrow
