Hi girls
Me and hub been trying to get pregnant for almost a year now. We have “upped” our game to doing the deed every other day for the past 2 months. I got my period this month altho, strangely, and for the first time ever, even tho my period is totally finished now, I am having the kind of symptoms and minor pains I get when I’m usually expecting my period. Such as lower back pain (moderate), constant twinges, and legs feeling tired. I don’t understand? As this has never happened before.
2 preg tests done just incase - both neg.
Surely I can’t be pregnant anyways as I just had a period!

Anyone go thru this? Any advice at all is appreciate very much xx

Very highly unlikely you’re pregnant if you’ve had two negative tests AND a period. I’ve been ttc for a long time and I’ve had weird cramps/twinges at random points in my cycle now and again. I don’t think it really means anything to be honest

Hi thanks for your reply :)
Yes I don’t think I’m pregnant I’m just confused with the symptoms that’s all. Maybe just over exhausted from work lol.

Are you doing anything in particular to help you get pregnant or just doing the deed often? Really hope it happens for you!

Are you tracking when your fertile week is on an app? You must be exhausted having that much sex! I’d try to focus on doing it every other day in your fertile week only. Also try opks and temping if you haven’t already? You could try preseed too

I wonder if you weren't ttc would you even notice.
You are more intune with your body and noticing every twinge when ttc!

I agree with the other poster. If you haven't tried ovulation predictor kits ( order from Amazon) and temping do some research and give it a go. At least you'll know when to get the shagging in. X

You might be approaching your ovulation week earlier than you think. I experience cramping, back aches etc when I’m ovulating, so perhaps those sensations you are feeling might be attributed to early ovulation rather than pregnancy. I agree with the above poster - buy an OPK so you can get a better idea of when you should be having sex to optimise your chances of getting pregnant. Good luck!
