So, am trying desperately after a MMC last year and this is the last ditch attempt before intervention. Have the opk' s, the pre seed, the Ava bracelet....you name it.
Anyway, yesterday and day before (14/15) at around 2pm I had a flashing smiley on the clearblue. We BD on 12th and 14th. Yesterday I got the flashing smiley at 2pm ish but we didn't BD until 4.30 this morning. Does that count as yesterday or today? Secondly, today's opk gives a solid smiley so am I covered for today or do we need to go again tonight. Hubby is getting very tired!

It only takes one time of DTD in the fertile window to potentially get pregnant!

NHS recommends DTD every other day to allow for sperm to replenish fully and so it is likely to catch Ovulation.

Getting a Solid Smiley indicates that you are likely to ovulate in the next 36 hours. Having DTD this morning at 4.30am I reckon you are covered (as sperm can live for up to 7 days).

However, remember that OPKs do not guarantee you have ovulated as they measure the LH surge - this can occur without successful ovulation. Your Ava Bracelet will be able to confirm when you have ovulated though.

I'd say DTD again Friday if you can and watch your Ava Bracelet to see if you do ovulate. Keep DTD every other day till your temps on the bracelet confirm ovulation.

Best of luck and lots of baby dust to you

Thank you for reply. Honestly, it's so stressful. There is nothing romantic about sex anymore. It's just, wham bam get it done! Have recently been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and I suspect this is hindering my chances. T3 and t4 are back in range but tsh is way off. Have spoken with endocrinologist and obstetrician and both say it's the t3 and t4 that are important at this stage however Dr Google tells me it's TSH!!
