Pregnant after mmc

Hi all. I had a mmc in Mid-April and had surgical management on the 19th April. I stopped bleeding after 2 weeks and my husband and I started trying again. I have taken a few internet strip tests to see when I get a negative result again and was getting very faint lines still. I did a clear blue digital test this afternoon which has come back with a 'pregnant 1-2 weeks' result. Am I right in thinking that these tests aren't very sensitive? I haven't had a period since the surgery yet. Has anyone else been in a similar boat?

It took 4 weeks (28 days) for me to get a negative test and I had my first AF 39 days after ERPC.

It's normal not to have a period for up to 6 weeks (and can be longer, depending how long it takes for the HCG to leave your system).

I think 1-2 weeks clearblue results means you have HCG levels of 25-200 but I'm not sure. So it could be that your HCG is now nearly back down to normal, but there is also a small possibility that it's a new pregnancy if you didn't wait for a negative before trying again. If you see your GP or EPU they may want to take bloods and then repeat them a couple of days later to see if the HCG has gone up or down.

I wish you all the best in the world for TTC again, and sorry for your loss.
Try not to get your hopes up for a new pregnancy just yet. From what I can gather you didn't get a completely negative test before taking this Clearblue, so it is very possible it's just hormones from your previous pregnancy still in your system. If this is the case I hope you get back to normal soon, but I have my fingers crossed for you for a new bean. :) xxx
