Can you just stop ovulating??

Been ttc for almost 2 years. Had all fertility tests done, all came back normal for both of us. I have regular periods and always have done.

I’ve been using opks since we started ttc and every month, I would get a positive without fail and it would last for at least 24 hours, sometimes 48 hours. The test line would always be really strong too. I would also get clear watery cm and/or ewcm for a few days, turning back to lotion cm the day after ovulating.

Last month however, I didn’t get a single positive opk. They were almost positive but not quite. I had ewcm up until cd14 and cd15 my ewcm was no longer fertile, as what usually happens. Then my period showed up 4 days late and I can only assume I didn’t ovulate that cycle as I know I didn’t ovulate late due to my cm. This month, I started getting tonnes of ewcm as usual, opks were almost positive but not quite and then my cm turned creamy and my opk lines started to fade.

I know you can have a quick surge and miss it but I was testing three times a day this month and in the previous 20 months of using opks, my surge has always lasted at least 24 hours. I’ve got a feeling this cycle was anovulatory also. Is it possible to just stop ovulating? Having ovulated without an issue for almost two years (confirmed with bloods/scans and backed up by my 1-2 day positive opks) two consecutive months of no positive opks has got me a bit worried...

I'm sure it's normal to have the odd cycle where you don't ovulate. Perhaps it's also normal to have a couple of cycles in a row where you don't ovulate?

Anything changed in recent months? Stressful situation, new diet/exercise regime etc?

Next month you should maybe track BBT to confirm O or not
