TTC first baby cycle one! Anyone else out there?

So.... first baby 🤞🏼🙏🏽🤞🏼🙏🏽 Meant to be ovulating tomorrow. Main challenge atm is keeping things fun with the husband and not making him feel like a baby making machine 😂 How’s it going for other hopeful first time mummy’s?

@FlapJackered I'm 12DPO. It's either due Friday or Monday. As I haven't had a 'normal period' yet. I've just had my withdrawal bleed so. This stuff is confusing. Well I've got quick big boobs anyways so I know when they feel different haha. Also, I'm not used to a lot of discharge ( of the slimy sort ). We will get there girl!! Xx

Nothing much to report here except I feel like I could ovulate the next few days if my cycles finally coming to an end.. as I’ve been having quite watery discharge checked my cervix and it feels quite soft but just not high so who knows? 😬

First cycle, ovulated last week according to flo but not sure how accurate that is.
Trying to remain chilled but who knows! Had really bad cramps all weekend and talked myself into it being implantation but now I'm just thinking its because of coming off the pill.

It is hard to wait and see isn't it?!

@sachabloom I use flo too so aslong as it's pretty accurate I'm good! I keep thinking it was implantation too. Now I'm getting close to AF I'm saying it was me coming off pill :( xx

@Delilah7 it's very confusing isn't it. I did think I was quite clued up but I don't think I have a clue 😂

If it's not this month I won't be too disheartened, we need to give our bodies chance to get back to normal xx

Sorry to hear some of you are having a hard time and not sure where you are at the moment!! Genuinely sounds like me 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ Think we all are....

Good news is that the OPK's I got online work... and I'm actually ovulating! First time using them so was a bit skeptical and confused on what I was actually looking out for... kept getting literally nothing appear and then BOOM CD19 26/5 at midnight after a very drunk day at the races I get this blazing positive Hahahaha! So have been doing the deed everyday since... Think I'm now 3DPO and feeling very crampy and extremely moody today... currently at work wanting to tell everyone to 'stick it' (Polite phrase) 🙊

How's everyone else getting on?

@WaitingForThatBFP I feel your pain! Long cycles are so frustrating! That's great you are still able to catch your ovulation though. I am struggling to pinpoint mine.

Some people also say their moods change, but like you said... I'm being a grumpy bag because I'm in pain... we can allow that at the moment ayeeee 😉

Hi everyone!

My DH and I are TTC #1 too - we started on Mother's Day back in March. I'm also on the Clearblue Clinical Trial for the 2nd month! Pregnancy testing starts on 8th June for me.

During cycle #1 I was going absolutely crazy, constantly thinking about baby related stuff and symptom spotting which made me want to constantly keep testing!

But I'm pleased to say that cycle #2 was much easier as we were on holiday and that kept my mind busy.

Now on cycle #3 and in my FW or thereabouts - had 5 days of high readings, still waiting for my peak! We've been BDing every day even when we were tired and all we wanted to do was go to sleep! Haha! But I feel really positive because of it!

Fingers crossed that this is our month and babydust to all of you ladies too!

@SunshineAndRainbows6 thank you! Flo said I ovulated Friday (25th) so surely these signs would be too early?!

I'm not convinced that's when I ovulated though as this is my first cycle off the pill so possibly a bit messed up?!

Very confused.

Gonna wait until end of next week and do a FRER I think!

This is an odd time after AF and no signs of ovulation, glad everyone else is still out there!

I thought I would join in again. Feeling all better and new again post Chemical miscarriage.
I'm ovulating ATM which is really exciting... Thought everything going might be messed up for a cycle or two. Going to be hitting the TWW soon. Its also so amazing to see ladies getting their BFPs, makes me feel all optimistic again.

Also I'm sorry to hear you and @rosesandponies are having a tough time. It really is so difficult. In the world we live in if we want to get things we can pretty much make it happen except with TTC. Just don't have any control and it's such an emotional thing to want a baby so it does properly impact how you feel. But I have a really good feeling for us all I think we're going to keep seeing lots of BFPs in this group xxx

@sachabloom IV done loads of reading on symptoms on loads of forums and one thing is for certain and that's everyone is different. Some pregnancies are conceived very early and show obvious symptoms and others don't have any symptoms. The annoying this is only time will tell but your signs could deffo be good ones... Really hoping they are and you get your bfp .
@charm23 IV been similar to you... First month symptom hunted and then second month I calmed down and little and now I'm just plodding along a little bit... And bding as much as possible. I get ovulation pains so I always know once IV ovulated and from which ovary too haha! I have these pains ATM on my left side so we must be at a similar time in our cycles. Got everything crossed for you.

@rosesandponies 9th June isn't too bad. Although I know time seems to go so slowly sometimes! I am not sure if i have ovulated or not. According to clearblue opk it was 18th May but then my temperatures say I haven't ovulated so who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ I am not holding out much hope but going to test on Friday anyway. Then I will likely be joining you on the start of another long one! Good luck with this one! Are you doing anything to try and shorten the cycle? I tried raspberry leaf tea but that did nothing, someone told me apparently hiit exercise helps so that's my next plan! I am not big on exercise though.
