So.... first baby 🤞🏼🙏🏽🤞🏼🙏🏽 Meant to be ovulating tomorrow. Main challenge atm is keeping things fun with the husband and not making him feel like a baby making machine 😂 How’s it going for other hopeful first time mummy’s?

Thanks everyone. @rosesandponies no sign of AF... Which I know is a good sign. However a chemical can happen any time up to 6weeks. So I just got to take it a few days at a time. And fingers crossed I really want this to stick! It's just too awful otherwise! Thanks guys for how supportive you've been it's so lovely recieving positive vibes from you all ❤️❤️❤️ xxx

Ladies quick! Small blob of clear cm, is this before or after ovulation?!

If it's clear get cracking! Clear means you're fertile but as far as I know it doesn't change on the day you ovulate.

Hello - total newbie here!

TTC #1, 29 yo and husband 31 yo. Cycle 6 now (AF came today).

Tried the temperature charting thing which didn’t work as I get up 2747483 times in the night for a pee. Tried the Clearblue OPK kit for the first time last month two days before my supposed ovulation day and got a smiley. Though I’m not pregnant so obviously we missed the boat.

Anyway, just wanted to join in and speak with people in the same situation. I’m driving everyone around me crazy with TTC talk, and all I get is “it will happen, just don’t think about it” which doesn’t help at all.

@hamandpease literally! I'm determined not to take one until I've missed a period. Problem is this month I don't know when to calculate my days past ovulation from. As I'm stopping DTD after tonight for a few days... but only had the stringy clear stuff yesterday! Xx

Do you actually reach inside to see? Or just notice when you go to the loo?

Going a bit nuts over here so would love some advice and support
So it’s our first cycle ttc, did the baby dance once during ovulation (maybe a day or two before by my basic calculations)
I’m now approx 16dpo and af about 3 days late. All bfns since 10dpo and still no sign of af. I’m never late for my period so going nuts. Just want to know either way.
Have used frers, clear blues and Superdrug’s hpts.
With my dd I got a faint positive at 10 or 11 dpo!
HELP IM DRIVING MYSELF NUTS. First time posting ever 🙈

Nope nothing like that...1st cycle trying to conceive but not really properly...just dtd and now af is 3 days late. No bfns and today is the first day I'm feeling a symptom...body is aching and I am shattered. Normally with Af I just want to eat chocolate and can feel her coming for days haven't had anything like that this time.

@hamandpease pissing away money ahahahahahahaha 😂 that made me lol. Husband looking over at me wondering what I'm giggling about haha. And I know how you feel, it WILL happen. Even if it's a long road for some of us it will definitely happen somehow - what I keep telling myself anyway

@Delilah7 I just check when I go to the loo - would feel a bit weird about going in for some as well, but give me a few cycles and I'll probably change my tune on that one! Sounds like you and your other half are definitely covered for trying this round, nice work 😉

Charting gives you an idea. I used clear blue ovulation tests, tested every few days for them to all day low low low low for over a month. Then found I was pregnant a couple days ago. So use them, just don’t become obsessed ☺️ I found tracking my period was the best thing for me! Then regular sex every couple of days :)

Af still hasn't turned up...that's 4 days late
BFN again this morning.
Even if I'm not preggers it's very strange for my period to be this late...literally never happened before
Not sure what to think ☹️

I would have thought at 4 days late you would be getting bfps if you ovulated when you think you did?

No iv never done anything like that before...wouldn't know where to begin.
You are probably right...I ovulated later then I think I did...
Why is AF not here yet then? She's always on time? Does late ovulation increase the length of your cycle?...we only did the bd once like 18 days ago so u doubt I'm preggers just want af to come if she's going to so I can do all my research and try properly next month!

Yes ovulating later would increase your cycle length, the luteal phase which comes after ovulation is normally between 10-14 days. My cycle is super irregular but once I have ovulated (found through temping) I know it will be 12 days until I start AF.

Sometimes stress, travel or just a change can affect your cycle length a bit, it may even be the fact you have started ttc has caused stress even unconsciously? I know doctors often tell people to stop trying so hard to conceive as it can just be what they need, to relax and it happens as the cycle is less messed up by stress/cortisol.
I know some people get late bfps though so it is possible, especially if you ovulated later than expected?
