This is more out of curiosity a lot people say you can use opk's as pg tests I get the whole premise of the hormones being similar. My question is do you use fmu and does the test have to be fully positive to mean pg or can it be just a faint line like normal pg test?

It doesn't always mean pregnant.

Last month I tested using an opk on cd23 and it was very +ve, however I got my AF the next day x

OPK's always have a second line. I don't think that they should ever be used as pregnancy tests.

OPKs will give a strong positive when pregnant, but a pregnancy test would give you answers sooner and more reliably so there’s no real point I think in using an OPK instead of a HPT.

With both my pregnancies I used an OPK stick purely because old had no pregnancy sticks in the house. Both times the second lines were strong and on both occasions I was pregnant.

The picture attached is from my recent pregnancy and it was an OPK I used on the day my period was due. I did use FMU but I don’t think it makes much of a difference anyway.
