Currently waiting scans & tests to find out whats going on with AF, pain & other bloomin horrid symptoms.

@TwittleBee u seem to have no luck at the minute thats soo annoying and soo far away u think they couldve done a scan quicker than that!

thisisouryrfx18 and lolacola13 just googled OPKs actually and apparently optimal time to test is just after lunch! I usually take mine as soon as I get in from work, always need to pee then.

And yeah I know thisisouryrfx18! I have just phoned though and they have rearranged to the 22nd May (why didn't they book me onto the closer one in first place I don't know!). Also it is with a private medical company, didn't realise quite how extensively the NHS was outsourcing to the private sector now!

How does that work for Cb digi then that has to be used with fmu... eughhh such a minefield .

No clue! I've never used fmu with cbi digi. Always PWU (post work urine LOL!)

@TwittleBee @lolacola13 the instructions for my clearblue digi say after the longest sleep, so I'd assume fmu, strange though as with others it's not

My ov pains are so bad today hopefully it doesn't drag out for six days like last month . If I didn't know any better I thought I had a cyst but had scan and womb n ovaries clear! Reminds me of a funny story when first started getting this mittelsmerz pain it was so sore I went to gp , she then thought it was my appendix and sent me to a and e , the young VERY VERY good looking doctor made my partner leave the room and said " we're confident it's not ur appendix but we are concerned it could be an pelvic inflammatory disease as a result of gonnorhea , do u have any green discharge ?" EHHHHH PRETTY SURE I DONT HAVE THE CLAP DOC but thanks 👍🏻🙄🙈...

@lolacola13 oh god that made me chuckle! I had to do a sti screening last time I was at the doctors because of pelvic pain, explaining to the husband it was just to cover all bases was fun! I hope your pains ease off but at least it's a reassurance that your ovulating

@lolacola13 😂no way! Why is it anytime sumthin embaressing happens at the docs/hospital they have to send in the gd looking ones pml i went for piles one time and the guy was soo hot i was like seriously couldnt just be an old lady could it?!😳

My best friend is a nurse and she said literally all the f1 docs and f2s are beautiful she's convinced it's a requirement to get into medicine lol.. I remember being in a and e years ago when I was about 22 with bad vomiting blood etc I had no stomach bug so they insisted on a rectal examination ... in walks the youngest most attractive doc I have ever seen... "knees to the chest please miss".... oh god even remembering It now makes me want to die a little

I am so not a fan of doctors today. Apologies in advance for this rant!

So I go in, I am now 8 days late and each test is a bfn. Spoke to the lady doctor (who happened to be pregnant, slap in the face or what) who told me that I should just carry on as normal and that all the symptoms I am having are probably just in my head. Wait a week she said, then retest. Thanks doc 😩

@sophi22 that's what we're here for! This is a safe place to blow off steam lol. I have been 8 days late before and no bfp.. turned out I ovulated ALOT later than I though due to stress . January's cycle was 41 days! Hold tight hun xx

@lolacola13 thank you! My cycles are normally between 28-29 days so it is really unusual for me!

I am also on the clinical study so I have no idea when I have ovulated because I'm not allowed to test 😩

@lolacola13 clearly i need to train in medicine for sum eye candy..strictly window shopping love OH to bits lol sorry @sophi22 sum docs are just annoying she prob got pregnant her 1st time having sex😂

lolacola13 had a positive OPK! So looks like we are close again this cycle. So I should see my BBT rise if I actually ovulate! Never bloomin know with PCOS!

Sorry to hear your Ov pain is horrid! Bloody hard for me too today so you really do have my sympathies.

Also as for DRs... bloody pisses me off how many STI checks I've had! Even bloomin had a few during pregnancy FFS. All have cone back clear too (luckily otherwise I'd throttle DH lol!).

Oh also... at uni one of our house mates was studying medicine and him and all his DR mates were gorgeous BUT they soon became unattractive when they started comparing/bitching about their patients. It's made me super awkward too now whenever I have a young DR.

sophi22 oh that is a major piss take having a pregnant DR in that situation! Rant fully justified and it is why we are here like Lola said. I know you're usually really regular but sometimes our bodies can be real mind fucks and you might have Ovd late for So many different reasons. So frustrating though and especially how you were in the Control Group! FX for you so much that at the end of this you get a BFP. Xx

@TwittleBee yayyyy!! Oh I'm so genuinely pleased for u! U must be a day ahead of me then my opk was high this morning not peak usually have a few days of highs . When I use the ic opks It's only evenings I see dark lines and Iv been chugging the water today and haven't done this evenings . Get shagging Twittle!! 😂

lolacola13 dont you worry, I already did! (TMI that I'm typing whilst legs in the air?) Hahaha. Didnt bother with cb digi, just popped to Tesco and picked up a pack of their home brand ones. Seemed to do the trick. Looks like I'm on track to have another shorter cycle again, 2 cycle in a row at 26 days!

Well seeing as we're sharing..... tmi I too am lying with two sofa cushions under my bum at a jaunty angle to keep the pelvis up . Pyjamas on of course . Haven't moved in an hour . Had a good cry at 999-what's your emergency . ... and now back is getting sore , Think it's safe to pee now ?! 😂🙈...

@TwittleBee also congrats on the shorter cycles that's fab. Are u doing anything diff? Iv had two shorter cycles of late down from 35-38 ish at Xmas to 31/32 now only thing I can think of the seven seas ttc vitamins ?

@lolacola13 nope all negative opks still grrr hopefully @Cakelaur is right and i just dnt ovulate until cd20-cd22 im on cd19

Iv ovulated on cd 20 quite s few times even before ttc I would know from the cramps and ewm.. totally fine. Get bding if it is going to be in the next few days although I'm sure u are lol x
