Currently waiting scans & tests to find out whats going on with AF, pain & other bloomin horrid symptoms.

Hey ladies how is everyone doing, what dpo etc? I’m just waiting for AF tomorrow after several days of getting my hopes up and feeling sicky. How did your appt go @thisisouryrfx? And @daisymay25 it’s frustrating isn’t it just seems it happens easily for some people! Just found out my much younger cousin is 5 months ....

Aloha! @italianwifey I'm literally about to ovulate so just dtd as much as we can lol. Ov pains and opks are getting quite dark probs tonight or tomoz I reckon! And then the wait begins 😱 hope ur all keeping ok! Xxx

@italianwifey oh that sucks. I can understand you being very bitter about that. Sorry AF is in her way for you. I'm 3dpo sorry early days.

Just back from the docs ladies and im pretty happy that she was soo nice! Shes sending me for blood tests to c if i ovulate and referring me to a gynaecologist (sorry my spelling is terrible cba googling lol) but at least she was sympathetic

Thanks @SoBoredOfWaiting i just need to worry about the results now uuuggh she says normally get a 21day test but because of my long cycles(42 days) i should get bloods done on cd28 does that seem right?

That’s good @thisisouryrfx18 I had those tests too, I’m glad they were nice and are doing something about it. I think they should be 7 days before your period starts I thought? So they should be in the middle of your luteal phase, do you know what day you normally ovulate or how long your lp is? Obviously go with what the docs say but for me for example I went on day 18 because I have a short cycle and normally ov around day 11! Good luck @lolacola13 and @daisymay25 I guess at least I’m at end of bloody 2ww now I hate that period! Feeling moody tonight haha just had a moan at DH - bloody PMS!! Wish AF would just hurry up now!!

@italianwifey my lp is 14days so i ovulate around cd28 so do u think i should fone n ask them if i should go the following wk?

@thisisouryrfx18 I had the same blood tests too. I have a 28 day cycle and had my blood tests on day 21.. am glad she was nice and sympathetic because you never know what they are going to be like

@thisisouryrfx18 I'm glad it went well! You get those tests done 7 days after you ovulate, if you roughly ovulate around the same time every month is phone then and let them know. Glad things are moving forward for you!

Grrrrrr !!! Time for a rant . Anyone's cycle been messed up after an early miscarriage? Cycle day 19 and 10th day of flashing face and the ic opk have a v v dark line almost almost same darkness as control line but not quite here I also have ov cramps but it just won't come!!! It's like I'm on the cusp and can't get over the edge lol. Infuriating . It's making me feel that all the dtd is a waste of time . Not in ever sense as I live my partner etc but we're really putting in the graft here

Sorry just seeing this @thisisouryrfx18 yes maybe 7 days after that would be best? I just ignored the docs haha and went on the right day, oops!!
I know @daisymay25, to make it even more frustrating AF has decided not to show up which is really annoying!!!!
@lolacola that’s annoying, sorry to hear that but you never know opks aren’t always reliable and our bodies are crazy things... you might still ov soon xxx fx for you

@italianwifey thats alrite ive changed the appt i now go a wk before af so its a wk after ovulation thats what everyone ive spoke to on here thinks, so sorry gp but im goin with the mumsnetters or mumsnutters lol

@thisisouryrfx18 hmmm. Your temps are really rocky. Are you temping vaginally still? Or did you switch to oral? And defo same time each day and after at least 4 hours sleep? I would suggest possibly a hormonal deficiency (poss progesterone) could also possibly be anovulatory cycle. I would say you haven't ovulated. Have you had a positive opk yet? Sorry it's so confusing babe. Hopefully your test results will have some answers. Xx

@thisisouryrfx18 is Will Smith's wife pregnant?! @italianwifey thanks so much hun. I am wasting a fortune on opks as I ran out of ic and went and bought boots own 4.99 for five and got two boxes they're v v good in fairness just v good quality and wide width . All I can do is make sure we're dtd, take my supplements, and hope for the best the rest is out of my hands!

@Cakelaur yh still vaginally same time everymorning except for 1day i slept in on my day off lol. It looks like my body tries to ovulate then it either does ovulate later on in my cycle or it tries to for a 2nd time. Its beyond annoying! Hows u anyway?

@lolacola13 yh apparently with twins and shes 53!

I don't think she's confirmed it though. Brigitte Nielsen is definitely pregnant at 54! Seems to be something in the water.

Looking for some of you to talk me down.... 2nd day late today and I never am. Unless I just didn’t ovulate this month but FF is telling me I did? Didn’t use opk as wanted to try and relax a bit more about it all... help! I’m too scared to do another test because I’ve literally been using ICs every day up until yesterday when AF was due and they were all negative 😩 was planning to leave it a few days then test again and maybe with something more sensitive? What do u all think... how do I know whether to bother or not? Just don’t want to be faced with that stark white test again!!!
