@dee7409 i agree with @TwittleBee dont apologise we rant on here all the time thats what its for lol go on amazon buy a cheap babymad bbt thermometer if af comes (fx it doesnt tho) take ur temps first thing in the morning before u get up out of bed at the same time everyday otherwise they wont mean anything really. Have u got a record of your recent cycles? If u have u could put them into an app hopefully that will help u make more sense of them gd luck hun❤

Do you ladies think maybe FF & the OPK were just wrong about me ovulating? I'm just not convinced I'm actually pregnant since last night's BFN Sad I do have irregular cycles.

Thank you for the recommendations, I'm definitely going to read up on fertility friend @twittlebee. Perhaps also invest in a better thermometer.

We decided to say f**k it, why wait til weds. I've got prosecco on the way and some nice knickers on. Sorry tmi haha!

I have a FRER which I'll only use if this AF doesn't turn into full blown AF. Sad knew it was too good

Oh @TwittleBee I'm so so sorry!! Life is just really unfair. Have you thought about talking to your Drs? This has happened a couple of times now. I would say it's a chemical pregnancy, not a faulty test. Because that was a definite positive. I'm pretty sure they treat chemicals like miscarriages and they may investigate. It could be as simple as low progesterone. (I actually ordered a cream online which I'm sure gave me my bfp this time)

@Cakelaur how do you know if u have low progesterone? Do u usually have a short luteal phase for that? I had bloods done a while ago full
Hormone profile not on any particular CD Though . Would it have have been picked up then ?

Hey Ladies, thank you all for well wishes. Certainly is period as, as usual for me, half my uterus is falling out in clumps (well always looks that way. Bleugh. TMI!) I'll mention this to GP when I see her next, which will be in just over a weeks time for a catch up on scan and test results.

Cakelaur what causes low levels? Is it something that can just randomly develop?

thisisouryrfx18 could have dropped that much because of being cold for sure. Or could have dropped because it's implantation. I don't think it would have dropped this early for AF as you're only 8dpo so still got a few days of potential implantation to happen? Cakelaur correct me if I'm wrong!

@thisisouryrfx18 it could be implantation. Your LP is more than 8 days isn't it?

@TwittleBee and @lolacola13 low Progesterone has to be tested for on cd 2ish and cd21ish. (For a 28day cycle) I however didn't get them done and just bought the cream. Please do your own research. But I found that generally after ov, there's no such things as too much progesterone. Those who have had mc or going through ivf are given it. I had one mc. My LP was on the shorter side (10 days) although after mmc it went to 12. My temps were very erratic and not that high off the coverline. They also quite often dipped below. I was also so desperate I'd try anything. First month trying it I got my bfp and I'm still using it now, 10weeks into the pregnancy. Rub it on fatty areas (arms, thighs, bum, hips) rotating the area each time? Once in the morning and once before bed. I waited til ff confirmed ov. (3dpo) and then stopped at 12dpo to allow AF to come. She never came and 15dpo I got my bfp and started the cream again. It was the smoothest, steadiest chart I've ever hand and then a dip where I stopped using the cream (which I think was also implantation as I had some spotting) and then bfp!! So I only have good things to say. It's called wellsprings progesterone cream. It's £20 and £5 delivery. Takes about 10days to arrive. I showed my dr and they were kinda not too bothered by it. She said it's probably bullshit but maybe it was a placebo effect. I'm gonna keep using it until 14weeks. Have a look on MN a few ladies have Said good things about it.

OMG so I'm actually shaking as a write this. I just took a test and it's a BFP?!?!?!!!

It's a Clear Blue Early digital one. I'm in shock. I'm on CD 30 and I used my FMU. AF could be 4 days late or 4 days early.

Can you get a false BFP?!

I'm in shock.

Aww @twittlebee so sorry to hear that! Hopefully the Dr can give some advice when you see them next week.

You can always take another test to clarify if you're in doubt but I would think you're pregnant

6dpo here, mild cramps and sore breasts but that's pretty normal for me, gonna test on Thursday when I'm 11dpo unless I crack before then
