Very short AF cycles?!

Hi All

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

I've always had 28 day cycles and a AF med-heavy flow for 4-5 days (was on pill for 10 years + just came off it Feb) and had bad camps most times.

In March my cycle was 28 days but AF was very light and lasted 2.5 days, my April cycle was 24 days and AF just lasted over a day and again was light?! But both times no usual AF cramps?!

We are TTC and had loads of symptoms this month but when AF showed up I knew I was out.

Do you think something may be wrong?! I've booked an appointment at GP but it's not until 04/05!! (Nightmare to get apps)

Just wondering if anyone else had this?!

'Periods' while on the pill aren't periods - they are a withdrawal bleed. Periods change. As you age they tend to get lighter. You might try increasing moderate exercise, drinking raspberry red leaf tea before ovulation and eating more beetroot and pomegranate seeds. You're panicking over what, for most people, is a non issue for conception.

Your cycles while on the pill weren't your natural cycles so you have to ignore them really. It can take up to a year for the effects of the pill to leave your system and your cycles to regulate. You just need to keep dtd and give it time. I know it's frustrating but it's just a waiting game. Good luck xx

Just thought it was strange being soo short and light!!

I'm going to keep my appointment at GP anyway as other things I would like to check out but your comments will at least stop me worrying until then ☺️ xx
