I'm TTC #1 on cycle 19 now I think Confused AF started today & I've had 3 baby bombs this week, 1 of whom conceived on her honeymoon, when she told me that I almost screamed (I'm obviously happy for her too). Anyone else want to vent/moan/scream with me?

Thanks @Glera, that's really helpful, maybe I'll tell a couple of close people because as you say it's must be nice when they understand or can listen to my rants/TTC worries. I've found everyone on Mumsnet really support which is a real saving grace!

I'll keep my fingers cross for you that AF doesn't show up on Tuesday and hopefully it'll be a BFP for you 🙂

This will be my 3rd month ttc I am due my period in 5 days but have got very sore breasts and had dizziness the last two days I don’t want to get my hopes up! This will be my first child if successful! Fingers crossed I think I will take an early test tomorrow or is that too soon? Any advice appreciated!

@Rach031 last time I was pregnant I took a test five days before and it was fine. I used first response as the pink dye ones are better for not having evap lines (according to Mumsnet anyway)

@owlalwaysloveyou Dh works annoying shifts as well. The past few months he's been on lates (finishing at 2am) on my ovulation week. As I start work at 7 it was a nightmare.

I'm glad other people understand how it feels to hear about other people's baby news when you're so desperate to have some of your own. I'm so worried I'm such a bitch for feeling like this but every baby announcement makes me want to cry.

DH has been warned he's not sleeping this weekend as he has to be at ovulation stations!

Thanks for this! I’ve noticed a lot of people have been using first response I’ve got the clear blue early detection...think I will try it first thing in the morning It’s so confusing this time of the month as my breasts hurt last month around the same time and AF came it’s difficult to know if I’m experiencing pregnancy symptoms or menstrual! I do think my nipples appear darker sorry if this is tmi! I’m 31 and I’ve got friends, colleagues and family members all having babies around me and I am happy for them but I wish it was happening to me too!

@problembottom just reading through this post and your message sounds just like me!! Having the same situation with my OH and the best day to do it pressure.... as well as hating my job and thinking of leaving but also really wanting to stick it out in hopes of maternity pay soon! ... plus the fact I’ve constantly got baby making in the back of my mind, being a broody ttc woman is actually the worst!

Trying to be happy for friends/family members is so hard isn’t it? I feel like such a bitch when I hear their news and feel this jealous hatred towards them.

On another note, does anyone not get sore breasts with AF? I never have, occasionally they feel firmer, but not tender. I’ve been cramping for a couple of days, which never happens, only on the second day of my period but still bfn, maybe I’m just going to be without this month, although I did O (according to opk)

You guys doing shifts have got a rough deal, I feel for you.

BFN for me too although may be testing to early. Flo app thinks I’m due on Monday but I think I ovulated later so maybe due on Wednesday. It was only a cheapy - clutching at straws to be honest.

Can I join? Been trying over a year now. Had blood tests and everything normal. Can't get any nhs help as same sex couple. Starting to wonder if I'll ever get pregnant. I'm currently 9-10dpo and feeling out already.

@Glera it sucks! I’ve tested pretty early as according to ovia AF isn’t due while Thursday I got an early detection pregnancy test oh well will try again I share same problem timing it right for DTD during fertile window due to work commitments DH is working away for a number of months in July and I feel worried we’ll get no time to try then I haven’t been charting my Basel body temp so I think I’ll try that next month goodluck everyone!!

Good luck ladies! My AF is due Wednesday so not testing until Thursday morning 🤯 I always get sore boobs before AF so I try not to symptom spot but easier said then done (are my cramps AF coming or preggo symptoms??)

@24Juniper you have such great will power. I’d be peeing all over that early detection test. I find it really hard to imagine actually one day getting that positive...why is it so easy for some women?

@Merrz so sorry to hear that, I’ve been chatting to some of my friends/colleagues about their pregnancy’s and found that for some of them it took quite a while too which I’ve taken comfort in I don’t think I ever really thought about it too much until just recently keep faith it will happen we need to turn this thread around! Have you been using a fertility app? I haven’t really used opk’s or tested my Basel body temp but I will from now on...all the best 😃

Just spent £150 on the ovusense monitor this morning. New rabbit hole for me. Dread to think how much I've spent since starting this.

Aph413 I spent about that on clearblue digital monitor, not to mention the vitamins, acupuncture, fertility apps etc, who knew TTC was going to be so expensive!

Permission to join. Best mate at work just announced pregnancy - unplanned, she was on the f**king pill!!! She keeps going on about what bad timing it is.
Obviously im thrilled for her on the outside but dying on the inside.
Pretty please can I get pregnant soon.

Oh pob that's rough, the accidental baby bomb's are the worst, I had a woman at work with a 'we weren't even trying' pregnancy - I was so relieved when she went on maternity leave!

I hate accidental babies! Clearly there us something wrong with me! Cycle 25 and did a test on my clearblue monitor this morning and big fat not pregnant! Eurgh!!!

Oh @24Juniper I'm sorry it's you too :( how many cycles is it for you? I really hope we are both lucky next time :(

I just want AF to start now so that I can get onto the next cycle. The waiting is the hardest part by far.
