Baffled

We’re ttc at the moment. First month back on it after a few month gap due to work circumstances. I thought it would be better to dtd loads and not bother with temping, checking cervix etc.. to keep things relaxed.

But now I’ve ended up totally baffled and would appreciate any thoughts.

I usually have long cycles; 32-36 days although had a 26 days cycle a few months ago.

I’m currently on day 26 of this cycle. I got really sore/heavy breasts starting on Day 21. I do get sore breasts before AF, but this seemed early to me and made me start the dreaded symptom spotting. I started tracking my bbt at this point and it’s been high every day.

TMI alert! Yesterday I decided to check my cervix and it’s high, soft and open. Also left brown smear on my fingers.

The info just seems conflicting? Am I about to get AF? Or could it be implantation bleeding? Does an open cervix mean I’m def out of the game?

I know I’ll have a pretty good idea in the next couple of days, but I’m going out with friends tonight and if I’m def not pregnant I’d like to have a few drinks.

Any thoughts?

Cervical position etc means nothing outside of ovulation.

My cervix moves around all over the place 😂 it’s a right fidget!

Look, if you are pregnant, your maybe baby is still only a tiny bundle of cells. Having a few drinks will not do any harm at this stage 💕

Thank you, both of you. You’re totally right of course. I’d forgotten how much ttc leads me to the over analytical, slightly unhinged place.
