Starting to wonder if there's something wrong now! A year off the (copper) coil and nothing! Am on month 2 of agnus castus so will hope next month at 3 months does the job! Both our bits work as evidenced by DD! Argghhh! Have poured a gin !

That's the toughest part. :(

My GP told me that the coil- both kinds- kill your endometrial layer for up to a year after removal. With DD1 I had it out and had a massive bleed and then didn’t have a period for nearly four months. Didn’t then actually get pregnant for eight more months. Was so disheartened after six months but GP said this is common and sent me for a scan and my womb lining thickness was shit. I build mine up by seeing a Chinese herbalist: had acupuncture and had to drink a really vile tea but the next month my period was much heavier and the month after I was pregnant. I know that sounds like bullshit but it worked for me.... and I didn’t have a coil again between kids and got pregnant with DD2 in three weeks so I think that the womb lining was definitely the issue.

@FellOutOfBed2wice

I am currently 6 months past having the coil and my periods are very light. That explains it. Especially since I conceived very quickly with DS 1. I'm off to the drs today.

I know how you feel. Been trying to conceive again for 2+ yrs. DD is 3.
Got pregnant very easy and fairly quick first time, 3months. This time not so much. Been to docs and had blood tests and a scan and all seems fine. So just keep hoping each month that this month will be it. Good luck.
